They should add them on!

I don’t think there’s much point in a physical because they are both dance songs and generally it won’t translate to physical sales.

I think with Ella possibly having 3 songs in the Top 40 this week and none of the recent singles helping the album it shows that people are maybe not invested in Ella as an artist but more invested in the individual songs and may not actually be resonating them with Ella herself. I know the songs arent on the album and i know i have brought it up before and some agree and others disagree but tagging on songs to albums is whats helping artists stay in the chart and build up what many call as fake sales but the fake sales do help albums get certified and doing it could do nothing but benefit Ella it may also help draw attention to the album and other tracks picking up a few streams.
Tagging on 1 or 2 extra songs helps with album sales / chart longevity if there are already songs that are being streamed in decent numbers on the album. That's not the case with Ella's album.
If these recent ones are tagged on though and the album gets a re release as a deluxe etc would they not then be counted in towards the album sales?

The top 2 songs on an album have their streaming numbers neutralised to the average of the rest of the album. So yes it would marginally bump up the weekly streaming sales of the album but only to the extent that it would mean the streams of 'Let's Go Home Together' / 'Brave' would be counted in full (assuming those are currently the 2 most streamed songs per week on the album), but I would be surprised if that alone were enough to return the album to the chart.

I guess if 'All For You' were tagged on as well then maybe that would have a slightly bigger effect, but an album that no one is streaming is not going to be saved in any meaningful way by tagging on a few extra songs.

I think Ella is viewed as a great professional with a great voice who is a safe and solid choice for a wide range of music. She has a bit of pulling power and a decent chart track record.

I’m sure the dance stuff is just a money earner and she really sees herself more in pop/soul music and songwriting.

Her tour with Cian Ducrot will kinda reflect that I think.

I hope she does more intimate piano based gigs to establish a more solid album based audience in the future.

I think she was also working on TV possibilities but I guess doesn’t have enough profile yet to make that happen…

but also Im not that sure if you can tag anything to your album

if it's on other people's albums, other labels, and you're just the feature

the other label has to agree, it's not like you can directly go grab the song and add it...

Don’t get me wrong it’s great that she’s in a place where she’s got a formula that is working and she is having success. But I can’t help but compare the current releases to Chapter One.

Chapter One really showcased Ella as a gifted singer/songwriter, a raw talent. I don’t think the dance feature singles at the moment do anything for her.

Chapter One was solid and consistent as a package which her current release don't have but for the most they are highly enjoyable.

i am curious what an ella tour looks like now.

Does she open on dance tracks then move into her slower sound and end on the hits or mix and match? It would be the most sonically strange set to go from 21 Reasons into Everything I DIdn't Say into This is Real

you can check at the setlistfm site

but she's been doing a sorta GH setlist mostly centered around the dance songs

so she does all her dance collabs of late, CWLCD, 21 Reasons, the Sigma one, etc

+ Ghost and Let's Go Home Together

i am aware what setlist fm is thank you v much!

I was speaking more about her own tour - not Prides and opening sets DEAR

There really isn't any need to be this rude. You're not Regina George.

I heard what about us in the shops today and it made me relisten to this album, i didn't realise how good it was!
'What About Us (Jax Jones Remix)'

'Emotions (Billen Ted Remix)'

Radio releases should happen.

I could potentially see one of those two being a top 40 hit if they released them.

That would probably be the best way for one of the album tracks to stand a chance of becoming a hit and it would be worth a go.

What About Us is my favourite! A shame she didn't push anything else as a single but I understand why :(
