Apparently the timings are all out because this takes place in 2015 even though they were still in Albert Square in 2016 and they were just namechecked in Eastenders as going to Ireland now.

 

Then something about Kat being told her child was alright in Dec 1983 even though he was born in 1984.

The first episode appeared to be character building and identification which is understandable, the last 5-10 minutes saved the episode from been "forgettable" to "this has potential".

Anyone still watching this? I watched the first two and gave up. Absolutely awful just like I feared :(

I'm still watching but it's not especially impressed me so far. It's about as good/as disappointing as I thought it'd be.

I'm struggling to care for anyone in it. The new characters aren't particularly likeable and Kat found her son astonishingly quickly and Alfie seems at a loose end. I don't even like the new Tommy tbh.

Yeah I have legit given up with this, switched off half way through episode 3 :lol:

Yeah it's really disappointing. Kat & Alfie aren't in the show enough and I don't really care for the new characters. Even Maria Doyle Kennedy isn't saving it.

Kat and Alfie and even Dermott could be utilised much better as part of EE at the moment.

Anyone still watching this at all?

 

 

Omg that can't just end it like that if its canceled just so many cliffhangers the best episode of the series but doesn't say a lot what came before
