Great for Shawn! Definitely what I wanted from him as opposed to what was left on his album. 'Mercy' and 'Treat You Better' were by FAR the only great songs, imo (Joseph will disagree ofc) :P

Come on Lana! Keep climbing too!

:kink: I will agree that they were the two strongest tbf and this is more what I wanted from him also :magic:

Delighted to see Shawn doing so well, I'm not sure how well he'll hold up but hopefully Radio 1 will get on board right away tomorrow (and Capital are already on board).

I'm getting the feeling that Shawn and Lana could both debut top 10 right now.
Wow that Shawn Mendes track is actually quite good. Certainly catchy and not especially generic so fair play to it.
Very strange but exciting to see the top 10 all basically 0.6 or above popularity wise, closest iTunes chart we've had in absolutely ages. As a result, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gaga out of the top 10 by the weekend unfortunately for her.
Harry almost #1 again!

Kworb's just updated and he's dropped back a bit; Shawn is Number 1 combined and the top version closing in on Number 2 fairly quickly

SOY has dropped back a fair bit today

OMG 3 new tracks in the top 10, when did that happen   nice to see the top 10 looking a bit fresh.

I wasn't aware Shawn and Lana were releasing, they need to move the goalpost to New Music Thursday instead of Friday.

Apparently there is a big new release from a male artist coming tomorrow according to Radio 1.

I think Plan B is the best shout, as he is Headlining Radio 1's Big Weekend and hasn't done anything in years, so something is coming.

Could it be Ed Sheeran

Does Plan B still qualify as a 'big artist'? Though I suppose if he's headlining Big Weekend he must have something out.

People on Twitter speculating it's Charlie Puth though, please god no.

Well that is depressing.

At least its not Ed Sheeran, can't be that depressing surely

It's Liam Payne or Niall Horan :P

Surely he's not big enough to do a secret release.

I'd put money on Liam or Louis, Bieber, Timberlake or Sam Smith.

Edit: It's Charlie Puth. Not THAT big then.

Plan B is immeasurably better than Charlie Puth. I'd argue bigger too, surely Charlie Puth doesn't have many fans who aren't teenage girls?

Justin Timberlake or Sam Smith would be more interesting too.

Charlie Puth is way bigger than Plan B right now  his album sold well and he seems to have wider appeal than you'd make out.

How do y'all know it's Charlie? :o

Popjustice have basically confirmed it :D

YAAAAY I'm so excited for new Charlie
