Not going top 10 doesn't mean she is over, tbh these days making top 20 is like making top 10 before streaming. It's just different now because of the fact the chart moves less, and there is less chance to get into the top 10 as the same few big hits clog it.

In another news i'm actually low-key raging about Radio 1 not playlisting it this week.

 

Ludicrous that they play random songs by the likes of XCX which DON'T EVEN BOTHER THE CHARTS or anything and songs that are performing much worse than this but not touching it. I DON'T GET IT why is she blacklisted now. HELP ME I AM SO ANGRY and done.

Yeah Capital and Heart have playlisted it and Radio 2.

Radio 2 have a larger audience than Radio 1 which is a positive. Whether their listeners will stream/buy the single is unsure, especially compared to R1's demographic.

Kiss are also fully on board

Disappointing about Radio One (I also had a mini meltdown about this Bal, it's just so good and deserves to smash :'( ) but the fact it's doing so well without their support really gives me hope they'll change their minds. :heart:

 

Maybe it's too early to say but I think if this was a big hit it would really get the British GP back on board with her as well as us monsters. Even when Gaga has been at her lowest point in her career she's still probably had the biggest hardcore fanbase of ALL pop girls, just her casual support was getting lower and lower.

Yeah I really think R1 are done with her now. They were reluctant to play 'Perfect Illusion' (got C-listed) and 'Million Reasons' wasn't playlisted either, and it's normal practise to drop a pop act after a flop. At least it's getting commercial radio and Spotify playlist support, those will really help it stabilise in the chart (though I don't think it has enough momentum to make the top ten).

Wonder if they will do the same to Katy after this era!
