April 18, 20179 yr Can Ed please bugger off, and let other decent music get there, instead of monopolising it week on week. This, exactly. It's not just the UK where 'Shape Of You' has been at #1 for a really long time too, it's pretty much everywhere: https://acharts.co/song/104028 France (14 weeks) UK (13) Australia (13) New Zealand (13) Switzerland (13) Germany (13) Canada (13) Belgium (13) Netherlands (13) Austria (12) Ireland (12) Denmark (12) US (11) Sweden (11) Bulgaria (11) Portugal (10) Finland (7) Norway (6) Spain (1) (lol!) Would be nice to have someone else (Clean Bandit) take the number one spot, or hell even have Harry get a second week though that appears unlikely.
April 18, 20179 yr It just feels like other artists are getting left out, Jax Jones, Clean Bandit, Rag 'N' Bone Man etc etc etc. We could have had around 5 to 6 different #1s by now, instead of 2, and its not even funny, its just boring and lame. Sorry had to get that off my chest. :D
April 18, 20179 yr Omg at Gaga, that is impressive considering it's not a lead single and only has 2 days of chart sales!
April 18, 20179 yr I still feel like Clean Bandit can sneak #1. Lady Gaga should make the top 20 - amazing news
April 18, 20179 yr Omg at Gaga, that is impressive considering it's not a lead single and only has 2 days of chart sales! Omfg not even BTW made no.1 on a half week of sales, let alone 2 like this!!!!
April 18, 20179 yr Can someone tell me if Voice winner Mo's EP is eligible for the Albums chart? It has 5 tracks, but 2 of them are different versions of the same song. Also, the EP is priced at £2.49
April 18, 20179 yr Omg at Gaga, that is impressive considering it's not a lead single and only has 2 days of chart sales! Not a lead single? Well then what is it? It isn't like it is an album track that has been out for download or to stream for months.
April 18, 20179 yr Getting my 10 streaming plays in per day for Clean Bandit - Anyone to be #1 rather than Ed returning to the top *.*
April 18, 20179 yr Not a lead single? Well then what is it? It isn't like it is an album track that has been out for download or to stream for months. It's just a buzz single
April 18, 20179 yr If 25 Buzzjackers in the UK stream Symphony all day and night for next two days it should be #1 :P Make a playlist of Symphony and Sign of the Times (or even better, The Cure) Edited April 18, 20179 yr by SKOB
April 18, 20179 yr It's just a buzz single You do realise calling something a 'buzz' single is just a way record companies, artists and fans try to negate the possibility of it flopping? There is no difference.
April 18, 20179 yr Nobody knows at this point if The Cure is just a standalone track or if it's the start of a new project from Gaga right now, but I'm leaning towards the former right now.
April 18, 20179 yr Nobody knows at this point if The Cure is just a standalone track or if it's the start of a new project from Gaga right now, but I'm leaning towards the former right now. I would have thought The Cure is a standalone track, as she has not announced anything else yet.
April 18, 20179 yr Hopefully Clean Bandit can still sneak #1 by the end of the week, it must be very close between the top 2.
April 18, 20179 yr I would have thought The Cure is a standalone track, as she has not announced anything else yet. Yes i'm going for stand alone, although I wouldn't be surprised if GaGa release a best of album soon, and it will probably be on that album
April 18, 20179 yr MTV's Chart Update has Shape down to 4 and Disciples up to 5 So which data are they using this week ?
April 18, 20179 yr It's just a buzz single Even if so, it may as well be a lead in terms of the release and its reception. It had a high profile single release from her headline set at the most talked about festival in the world.
April 18, 20179 yr Disciples could only be at 5 in the sales-only chart, so I assume they're using that one.
