Considering Shawn Mendes should make next week's top five if he enters at a similarly low position he could beat that record.

Charlie Puth ft Meghan Trainor did climb from 90 to 1 (with 'Marvin Gaye') in August 2015, I can't think of any other track that climbed more than 89 places within the Top 100.
