Didn't realise Charlie Puth was as high as 17!

He's been climbing solidly since Friday, barely decreasing at all, impressive! Goes to show he has more of a casual audience than a fanbase really.

Well, he did premiere the video just as sales would usually decline for a new track.

Hopefully it holds up. Not that fussed on the track, but I like Charlie, so I'd like to see it do well for him.

I'd have expected a decline on Saturday like most fanbase releases, but it's barely slowed down since it got released, not often you see that! The video's certainly helped but it had been climbing steadily anyway.

Steps are on Loose Women today and have just gone back into I-tunes top 10

I didn't realise they had gone out of it, they were #10 when I last checked.

Thanks man :)

I am glad they are back in the top 10 :)

Were do we reckon they will chart officially?

Who knows it's weird everyday they find a show to promote it on and it goes back top 10 but hoepfully the Loose Women promo today will keep it in i-tunes to give it a top 40 slot and then they can get some plays on the MTV channels next week with the video..

I would love Swalla to be the next #1  It's doing so well!

It reminds me of all those ratchet-DJ Mustard sounding hits we had a few years ago! It's so catchy.

Yes, they need to blast it out on the music channels! Do people still watch them though?

Yes, that would be incredible! I love the song.

The Steps promo has been on point - HMV signing, Losse Women, This Morning, Mrs Browns, Palladium plus media and interviews.

The only things missing were a special edition of the album which could have got extra sales and another HMV signing but #2 is amazing :cheer:

So pleased SOTD is holding up on iTunes too - now they need to pay some £££ to get on the streaming playlists.

I get the feeling payola is a rather complex business and only open to those with enough perceived relevance.

For example, I can't really imagine Spotify giving Cliff Richard a place on Hot Hits UK even if his record label paid £1m for the opportunity  Sadly I expect this extends to Steps...I know they were on The Pop List but they'll know how influential Hot Hits UK is and guess they won't want something they deem to be irrelevant on that playlist.

They have got the management team spot on they said on This Morning that their management is organising them and they just turn up where they are told, the have got it just spot on, I think maybe 5 weeks ago they didn't quite have an idea what to do but have made up for it.

Have Steps ant chance of re-peaking this week. It would be wonderful it can get back into the top 40.

They have defied the odds and stayed almost top 10 since Friday (except early this morning) so I don't know if continuous top 10 will give them a top 40 place.

They really need a Hot Hits placing, they are a 'Hot Hit,' the song is poppy and dancey and if they have included artists like Little Mix then SOTD isn't a million miles away.

Maybe if he featured Skrillex

It's sad that if you aren't fortunate enough to get onto a big Spotify playlist, you're unlikely to dent the charts - even with extensive TV promo and a high spot on iTunes. Spotify has too much power.
