Fantastic follow up - I'm surprised shes getting a second single though.

For those of you who haven't heard the track:

Glad there will be a second single and no surprises that it's Battlelines. I wonder if it could actually become a hit (in Ireland at least) for her.
Video is shot! What does everyone want it to look like?

Hopefully something hot/edgy, we need SultrUna back.

This is actually a really good video and song!

Why hasn't she tried to go for American success? I think she would get a hit album out there tbh.

Really nice song and the video is pretty cool too.

Really great video! I think this will be bigger than Stay My Love with the right amount of promo. Go Una :cheer:
Fantastic video on a budget but it works! Find the guitar pass over and faking strumming quite jarring to watch. None the less so excited for her show in London next week!

She should have made this the lead single. It is probably the best Solo Sats single so far.

Yeah it's a simple video but very well done. And probably more expensive than Stay My Love, which is a very good sign that the label is happy with her.

The production sounds slightly different from the album version, I can't wait to have it on Spotify.

I think for this kind of genre the way to go is a constant flow of live shows, a more long term effort rather than some quick massive promotion. But she is doing the work: She was a solo show in London on the 15th, then she's joining Sam Palladio at his own gig in Nashville on the 17th, then headlining a festival in Northern Ireland at the end of the month...and all that while promoting Battlelines.

One step at a time!

I thought something sounded different too but it's probably my imagination!

Una bringing those country bangers *.* Can't believe how much I've liked her solo career! :o

I'm surprised too at how much I've loved solo Una. She was always the most talented musician in the band having the instrument, vocals and songwriting but she's done pretty well even if she hasn't set the singles chart alight with material.

If you look at how Decca operates and what artists they have signed, they are likely not looking for much single success. If anything, they are probably hoping for Radio 2 to playlist it and for it to at least shift a few more copies of the album.

She'd be able to shift a few more copies with promo, I don't recall Stay my love being playlisted but then again Battlelines is a bigger bop.

She's visiting Sunday Brunch this weekend, so it seems like they are starting with the promo for the single.

Also, Stay My Love is now the most played solo-Saturdays song on Spotify.
