Semi-Final 2

NOTE: unfortunately there was an error in the original spreadsheet and it turns out Terra Avium should have qualified over Aelandor, see posts below

Aww at Ajanaeda giving me 10 in the semi and then not voting in the final </3 Could've got me over 300 points/given me my second highest final points total! :kink:

3 points from Zanmatony in the semi final but 18 in the final :o that growing power *.*

(100 points in the semi *.* my second highest semi points to date, only behind the 165 points for MssingNo - 'Scope'.)

Er... I didn't give my semi 3 to Tinnmark. I gave it to Terra.

I know what this means. Somehow a clerical error meant Aelandor qualified. (poor Chez)

And a 12 from Mulgracia means I could have been even closer to the top 10 (but not inside it) if they'd voted, aww.

shit

hey, I can totally see how it happened, don't worry about it, these things happen and it's done now. Except I'm now starting the campaign for Lilith to clean up in Rejects.

I feel so bad  I suppose it's an easy mistake to make, I did check things but I suppose it's harder to see your own errors when you've been doing something a lot like checking a whole scoreboard, so it might be good to post them for everyone to check for sure.

Oh shite.

I definitely wish I'd given Terra one more now, even if I had DNQed, that makes me feel bad. :/

It's natural that this kind of thing would happen every now and then (especially when the points are so tight around the #20 mark), I'd bet it's probably happened way more times than people actually know about, just sucks a bit whenever someone happens to spot an error like this. The hosts are only human after all (don't put the blame on Liam etc.) ~

Maybe we could give 'Lilith' an AQ in the Rejects?? Idk ~ It's not like it would have been a huge hit in the final I guess (probably).

Soooo, anything else to check off to make this the most frustrating DNQ ever...

Srsly don't worry about it though, Liam, these things happen (and I'm winning next month which should make up for it x) and at least we got a great 'fake' qualifier out of it!

okay so from now on guys i think we should have DNQ scoreboards posted just in case oops

I do agree with this though, I actually thought it was already mandatory before the last few months.

The official line has always been that hosts are "encouraged" to post the non-qualifiers scoreboard following the semi results according to the Guide to Hosting thread which is admittedly a little out of date. But I agree that making this mandatory in the future would be nice, purely just for a sense of completeness to the semi results and then if it allows people to double check their votes have been inputted correctly (as everyone says above, it is impossible to double check hundreds of point givings per semi-final) it is an added bonus!

This is why we need to have dnq scoreboards immediately after the semifinals so that everyone can check their votes just in case. don't know why this didn't happen this month.

Also can we STAHP with 23 hosts each edition please? Every one has their own style, it's messy and inside information is leaking all over the place probably knowing Camerón~~ Two hosts maybe but three is excessive.

When i win the next edition i will Petra Mede this bitch

Who will be your Mans then
