Posted April 25, 20178 yr After a great week this week for new music, we'll be getting another week with loads of new tracks that could trouble the top 100 :D Afrojack & David Guetta feat. Ester Dean – Another Life DJ Khaled feat. Justin Bieber - I'm The One Fall Out Boy - TBA Foster The People - TBA Galantis – Hunter Hailee Steinfeld – Most Girls HAIM – TBA Katy Perry - Bon Appétit Kygo & Ellie Goulding - First Time OneRepublic - TBA The Vamps feat. Martin Jensen – Middle Of The Night Tove Lo - The Struggle ...looks like there'll be a lot of decent tracks out! Predictions? I expect DJ Khaled, Fall Out Boy, Katy Perry, Kygo, OneRepublic and The Vamps will have a good chance of being top 40. Edited April 25, 20178 yr by mdh
April 25, 20178 yr Predicting DJ Khaled, Fall Out Boy, Katy, Kygo/Ellie and The Vamps/Martin Jensen to all challenge for top 40. Haim probably won't be far off although depending on the song, I can see them outperforming expectations. OneRepublic won't make top 40 instantly I don't think, neither Wherever I Go nor Kids debuted top 40 last year.
April 25, 20178 yr I hope Another Life does well, it is definitely one of the best future bass songs of the future bass era - the drop is amazing, it puts Martin Garrix's two last songs to shame.
April 25, 20178 yr Predictions for official debuts 101+ Afrojack & David Guetta feat. Ester Dean – Another Life 40 DJ Khaled feat. Justin Bieber - I'm The One 101+ Fall Out Boy - TBA 75 Galantis – Hunter 60 Hailee Steinfeld – Most Girls 22 HAIM – TBA 02 Katy Perry - Bon Appétit 09 Kygo & Ellie Goulding - First Time 50 OneRepublic - TBA 20 The Vamps feat. Martin Jensen – Middle Of The Night 85 Tove Lo - The Struggle
April 25, 20178 yr is it possible to hear those releases lets say in torrents? like in music industry Edited April 25, 20178 yr by ankietarrr
April 25, 20178 yr If the song is instant and good I can see Katy Perry challenging the #1 as the sales are not big. At the same time I could also see her miss the top-10 with a wrong song.
April 25, 20178 yr is it possible to hear those releases lets say in torrents? like in music industry No, they're not out yet.
April 25, 20178 yr Author If the song is instant and good I can see Katy Perry challenging the #1 as the sales are not big. At the same time I could also see her miss the top-10 with a wrong song. Actually I agree with this. If it's a pop banger and has instant Spotify support, it could easily be top 3. Same with Kygo! Think both of them will be top 7.
April 25, 20178 yr I wish AJR would give 'Weak' a proper UK push :( I think it's time for Louisa to release something new, too.
April 25, 20178 yr Author Been revealed that Bon Appétit features Ariana Grande! Looks like it's a SERIOUS #1 contender for next week now. Edited April 25, 20178 yr by mdh
April 25, 20178 yr Been revealed that Bon Appétit features Ariana Grande! Looks like it's a SERIOUS #1 contender for next week now. Ariana Grande isn't a big chart force in the UK really. A top 10 debut looks likely.
April 25, 20178 yr Ariana's a big name for sure! Will certainly help with curiosity streams at the very least, plus she has a big fanbase.
April 25, 20178 yr Ariana is really big here. Katy and Ariana together will generate a lot of hype and curiosity - Ariana also always does really well on streaming. How the song does after the first few days depends on the song though. If it's a banger, it'll debut top 5.
April 25, 20178 yr Foster the People may be added in that list too. New music from is expected to be out this Friday (Sunday to a lesser extent) too, although I don't think it's going to do some much chart wise at all. Sigh!
April 25, 20178 yr Author Ariana didn't help 'Heatstroke' debut at 1 did she? That's because 1) it wasn't a proper second single 2) it wasn't at all accessible 3) it wasn't very good ...her fanbase are a lot less likely to invest in a chilled R&B track than they are a pop track, which is what she's known for.
April 25, 20178 yr That's because 1) it wasn't a proper second single 2) it wasn't at all accessible 3) it wasn't very good ...her fanbase are a lot less likely to invest in a chilled R&B track than they are a pop track, which is what she's known for. She's also hardly on it.
April 26, 20178 yr Unless I'm being trolled by a few people on this forum, Rita Ora is also rumoured to be releasing on Friday! BLOODBATH. Omg. Excited for: Galantis – Hunter Hailee Steinfeld – Most Girls Katy Perry feat. Ariana Grande - Bon Appétit Kygo & Ellie Goulding - First Time OneRepublic - TBA Rita Ora - TBA *.* Also, what did 'Chained To the Rhythm' open with? Because I can see Katy opening with extremely similar sales, and seeing as sales are fairly low right now, I'm hoping that she can do enough to capitalise and get a number 1!
