Rihanna should release a new single, it'd be an instant #1 smash surely.

I think we'll come full circle in the near future & have fairly regular #1s again. You only need about 20K raw "sales" to get to #1 & just let streaming do the rest of the work. As long there's a reasonably big name artist releasing a hit every week or so the #1 debuts will become commonplace again.

And that'll be bliss <3

Doubt it, Rihanna isn't really in the strongest position at the moment. Not only did her most recent album fail to make the Top 5 but its one of her lowest selling. Minus Work, which was helped by Drake, her other singles barely made a dint in the Top 40

Work debuted at 2 didn't it? Sales are so low now and we know she does great on streaming.

Work would have smashed regardless, it was one of THE songs of last year. Unique as well. The biggest floor filler of last year for females too (for males it was Panda).

 

She needs to release another urban track I think.
