Gabrielle here to welcome one and all to Néú Oslo, the state capital of Sørenthíjå here in République d'Ashton! We're here this month for the spin-off we've all been eagerly anticipating... SCANDIPOP!!!! Yes I am the one behind song of the decade, 5 Fine Frøkner as featured in Skam and here in BJSC for Ashton.

 

Dates will be forthcoming shortly, and we'd greatly appreciate volunteers for the veto council - especially from nations with strong Scandipop heritage.

 

 

The rules for this contest will be simple. Nothing from ESC, MGP or MF, it must be by an artist from Scandinavia (below is the territories we are counting as Scandinavia) and it must be a pop song. No rock, no jazz, none of your landfill indie shite, and most certainly no Avicii.

I think I have another old abandoned potential (Icelandic naturally) which qualifies for this - it's not quite schlager/typical Scandipop but I think you'd have to be pretty overly restrictive to say it isn't pop :lol: So another excuse to bring back a song I wanted to send a while back ~
