Anyone else watching it? The first 4 episodes are out there and it's the best TV show I've seen in forever, even more than Big Little Lies.

 

Literally just about to start it :D

I started reading the book, but never got round to finishing it despite wanting to (story of many many books I purchase). This seems a good way to get me back into it, do love a good dystopian tale.

Definitely gonna have to watch this after exams, I loved the book! We studied it at A Level and all the themes are so interesting.

 

EDIT: it's been confirmed for UK broadcast! An announcement is gonna be made soon apparently but it seems like Amazon Prime might get it as they have other shows that are Hulu exclusive in the US.

Well I recommend to all. It's brilliantly acted. Elizabeth Moss is, as always stunning and even Alexis Bledel is really good.

 

Can't wait for episode 5.

Episode 5 is up :D Caught up on the first 4. INCREDIBLE. So, so disturbing and Elisabeth Moss is absolutely brilliant.

Channel 4 have acquired the rights in the UK!

Just wait until episodes 2 and 3, even better.

Things get a lot darker before there's any glimmer of hope which isn't until the end of episode 6. SUCH an amazing show!

Well, Episode 3 wasn't half a tough watch, but incredible show with the stakes rising in each episode. Think I might need to stay at US pace for this one as it's getting gripping.

I don't think I've ever yelled with happiness/fistpumped so hard at a TV series like I did when episode 9 ended :lol:

 

I'm VERY anxious about what they'll do for the finale.

Episode 9 was so good!

Just finished the finale and this has been one of the most brilliant and important series in a long time.

Season 2 pre-production is under way but I'm not entirely sure that is such a good idea. I get that they feel they can continue the story and spend more time in this world but the ending of the show (and book) is perfect.

That big scene near the end was so good. The woman playing Aunt Lydia is fantastic.

finally got strength to watch it. i had thought it was a LOT more depressing than it actially is

 

SO gripping I cannot stop! happy that season 2 is coming April but i have two episodes left so not sure what's even going to happen
