I think I'd almost pick Sue but I'm wary of srong older black women after Pauline and to a lesser extent Natalie :') Especially with the power element to it, being "above" the others with special privileges and info that the others don't have. Simone seems like we've got her niche covered by various other housemates, she has bits of a few of them. Andew I'd say as well, the most unique and seems to have the most potential, but I'm almost certain it'll be Tom based on looks lmao

Sue is very much a risk, all I keep thinking of is Pauline and I CAN'T have that back in the house.

This is so shit! Whats with them all being on TV before?

It's so dull.

Wtf why are they telling them....

I don't get the point of this twist if they know

It does look like a promising cast, mainly down to all the pairs. It's good that many don't actually have previous TV appearances (unless something creeps out of the woodwork), I'm just disappointed mainly that we have THREE Ex on the Beach people. Particularly when Kayleigh has appeared on more series than CBB winner Stephen Bear.
Omg a girl I went to school with vaguely knows Raph from uni

"Did you apply for this"

"No I was in Marbella and got a facebook message"

Oh the Facebook live thing is absolutely ridiculous, completely destroys the concept of the show. :(
The Facebook Live thing is actually the first opening night twist BB have done in years where I've thought, actually that's quite a clever idea! The no outside influence thing ended years ago, and this seems like a very on trend thing to try out.

Andrew said it spot on, on BOTS: "It's not a dating competition, it's a personality competition".

the public never learn supporting and rooting for the "fit guy" when they offer nothing but misogynistic comments and showmances that no one cares about. Still i'll give him a chance I guess, it's just some of the others had so much more personality.

I knew this would happen so I'm glad it's only one housemate we had the power to vote in, with very limited info we all have our superficial ways of preference judgement I suppose  Like for Sue I was like "yaass sassy black woman", I think it should have been these four who were revealed before tonight and they have VTs on the BB website! I'm glad it's not *too* big of a twist but I'm slightly worried about the contact with outside, extra info etc getting out of hand. I think it's clever to use techonology t make him aware of the info he's being fed, but I'm not sure Facebook live is the right way. If he's sat there live reading everything, there's no filter and they could tell him anything and give god knows what away, I think the producers should just choose tweets to him or something but I guess this way it's less open to manipulation.

Yeh that's my problem. Facebook Live means he is literally open to EVERYTHING. Whilst I absolutely hate all the Twitter comment reveals, at least that has the potential to just be ONE random person's thoughts.

It is just one step away from giving housemates full access to Twitter where they may as well not even be locked up in the house.

^ agreed!

I really don't have a major issue with whether the housemates have been on other reality shows before  I haven't seen them on the shows so it's still like a brand new set of housemates for me and if they are known to bring the drama then I am all for it! The show's format changed with its move to Channel 5 - I think many of us (me included) long for the days of mid-Channel 4 days glory but it's not that show now and much more prescribed and celebrity driven, we kind of need to accept that and just enjoy it for the drama it still brings.

I am so excited, it's my favourite show and will be pretty much all I think about TV wise for the next few months <3

It's just so much harder to personally relate to the cast now, which made the show have a very, very different appeal in the days of Jade Goody and other nobodies. The vast majority of Big Brother viewers don't have instagram followers into four figures so the concept of the show has indeed changed. And so have its ratings ooops

(I realise this is nothing new)
