Israel / His vocals were a lot poorer tonight but I love the song so much, definitely one of my favourites of the year. A superb opener and please f*** me now. 9.5/10

 

Mum's comments: "He has pixie ears", "Okay, never mind, I'd give him 10/10... his song gets a 1/10 though", "he's not a very good singer, it's a good job he's good looking".

You could throw a rock at twitter and literally anyone you hit could produce this commentary. There's nothing especially funny or endearing or special about it

Highlight for Flashlight is Kasia's unusual vocals, I wish they were attached to a song that was a bit more memorable. Don't think the Polish diaspora will be mobilising for this one as much as they did Color Of Your Life.

Kasia is one of the best vocalists this year and she really brings the song to life live. Might struggle from 2nd though even with the diaspora.
