The only thing I don't like about the format of the new chart is that they don't play clips of the songs being skipped out. It makes me completely lose track.

I'd also like some more stats but that's me being a chart geek

Logically I think they should release Honest or Break Up Every Night as the next single. I reckon they TRIED The One but it didn't work out, but I've seen the aforementioned two on a few playlists so I bet it'll be one of them.

Biography

Peter Gene Hernandez (born October 8, 1985), known professionally as Bruno Mars (/ˈmɑːrz/), is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and choreographer. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, by a family of musicians, Mars began making music at a young age and performed in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood. He graduated from high school and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a musical career. After being dropped by Motown Records, Mars signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records in 2009.

In 2009, he co-founded the production team The Smeezingtons, responsible for the singles "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy. He featured on the hooks for both singles, becoming recognized as a solo artist. His debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010) included the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade", as well as the number-four single "The Lazy Song". His second album, Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), peaked at number one in the United States. The album spawned the international singles "Locked Out of Heaven", "When I Was Your Man" and "Treasure". In 2014, Mars lent his vocals to Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk". In 2016, he released his third studio album 24K Magic with the lead single of the same title released on October 7, 2016. To date, he has sold over 100 million singles and albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. Mars has landed six number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 since his career launched in 2010, attaining his first five faster than any male artist since Elvis Presley.

Mars has received many awards and nominations, including four Grammy Awards, and was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world in 2011. In December 2013, he ranked number one on the Forbes 30 under 30 list. Mars is known for his stage performances and retro showmanship. He is accompanied by his band, The Hooligans, who play a variety of instruments such as electric guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, drums and horns, and also serve as backup singers and dancers. Mars performs in a wide range of musical styles. - Wikipedia

Biography

Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn (born November 20, 1983), known professionally as Future, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Wilburn first became involved in music as part of the Dungeon Family collective, where he was nicknamed "the Future". After amassing a series of mixtapes between 2010 and 2011, Future signed a major record label deal with Epic Records and A1 Recordings, which helped launch Future's own label imprint, Freebandz. He subsequently released his debut album, Pluto, in April 2012 to positive reviews. Future's second album, Honest, was released in April 2014, surpassing his debut on the album charts.

Between late 2014 and early 2015, he released a trio of mixtapes: Monster (2014), Beast Mode (2015), and 56 Nights (2015). His next releases, DS2 (2015), What a Time to Be Alive (2015, in collaboration with Drake), EVOL (2016), FUTURE (2017) and HNDRXX (2017) all debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. The latter two made him the first artist to debut to two albums consecutively at the top of that chart. Future has also released several singles certified gold or higher by the RIAA, including "Turn On the Lights", "Move That Dope", "F**k Up Some Commas", "Where Ya At", "Jumpman", and "Low Life". - Wikipedia

Biography

Niall James Horan (born 13 September 1993) is an Irish singer-songwriter and guitarist, known as a member of the boy band One Direction. In 2010, Horan auditioned as a solo artist for the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor. He failed to progress to the "Boys" category at the "judges' houses", but after guest judge Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Niall joined One Direction, with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, the group became a reality. The five-piece band made it to the final and finished in third place. Even though they didn't win, One Direction was signed by Simon Cowell to a reported £2 million Syco record contract.

In his career as a member of One Direction, he has co-written songs such as "Taken", "Everything About You", "Same Mistakes", "Back for You" and "Summer Love", from the albums Up All Night and Take Me Home. In the latter, he also has played guitar. He also co-wrote the songs "Don't Forget Where You Belong", "Why Don't We Go There" and "Story of My Life" for the Midnight Memories album,"Night Changes", "Fool's Gold" and "Change Your Ticket" for the album Four, "Wolves", "A.M.", "Temporary Fix" and "Never Enough" for the band's fifth album Made in the A.M. He released his first single as a solo artist, "This Town", in 2016. - Wikipedia

23 Martin Jensen - Solo Dance

If you'd have asked me where this was prior to the chart, I would have said 12 or 13 - didn't realise how fast it had dropped off :o

Surely the next Chainsmokers single has to be Wake Up Alone.... or at some point

Best song on the album and Jhene's long overdue a bite at mainstream success

should be young, but drew loves break up every night so much, idk

I think that'll be the last single. It'll probably be Young or Honest for the summer then Break Up Every Night (which is far more suited to Autumn) nearer the end of the year.

POWER IS SO GOOD ON THE RADIO! So happy it's finally a single and hopefully it'll climb in the coming weeks! Also Niall's Slow Hands is probably the best release post-1D out of any of the boys imo.
The first second or so of this reminds me of a Jon Bellion song - which one I can't remember though. Slow Hands is a bit shit.
Pleasantly surprised by this Niall song! I didn't really think much of 'This Town' but this newie is growing on me really fast. Impressed, top 20 please!
Really really liking "Slow Hands", I hope it gets the success it deserves. He clearly is the least popular of the band given his lack of chart success in comparison so far but this track is up with the best of them "Pillowtalk" and "Sign Of The Times".

Really? I think this is my favourite post-1D single yet!

Biography

A South London-based commercial dance production team, Disciples consists of Nathan Duvall, Gavin Koolmon, and Luke McDermott. Duvall and Koolmon previously recorded under the aliases Stylistix ("How Soon") and Kool & Duvall ("U Lift Me Up"). The trio debuted in 2013 on the New State Music label with Remedy EP, the title track of which was played by BBC DJs Target and Trevor Nelson. Their profile increased after they signed to Pete Tong's Parlophone-supported FFRR label, where they issued 2014-2015 singles such as "Catwalk" and "They Don't Know," the latter of which went to number 24 on the U.K. pop chart. That success primed them for a couple major collaborations issued during the second half of 2015: "Yellow," with Robin Schulz, and "How Deep Is Your Love," made with songwriter/vocalist Ina Wroldsen and co-producer Calvin Harris. The latter song narrowly missed the top of the U.K. chart, reached the Top 30 of the U.S. Hot 100, and made major impressions in several other territories. By the end of the year, Disciples were promoting another release, The Following EP. - iTunes
