Surely it isn't aimed at a male audience?!! I thought it was a power bop for females?!?
I don't see how any of the song suggests a primary appeal for only females

The part where she says 'all my ladies'?

but I disagree, I'm sure males will be bopping to this in da cluuurbb also.

Umm the lyrics?

This is clearly more female empowered than watered down Power.

Can't see this doing well at all. YDKM attracted a wide audience whereas this will only attract a female and gay male audience..

Nail on the head. Although it'll still be a chart hit, it will be more niche.

How on earth is it a rehash of 'You Don't Know Me'? It couldn't be more different.

Well he could have done a classical piano piece featuring a childrens' choir...

I think it has a good chance of going top ten, or at least top 20. it's off to a good start on iTunes. Definitely won't be as big as YDKM but will be a hit.

It really could have though. It's the same kind of production, beat and with droney female vocals. He literally could have just asked RAYE to stay for another 5 minutes to record this.

But fair play to him he's turned into one of the most successful dance acts of the year if this also smashes.

I'm sure he'll make sure that his next single mentions hoes or bare bitchez to appeal to the straight men with masculinity too fragile to enjoy a sassy song like this that calls for all my ladies.
I highly doubt it'll miss the Top 40 because it has female lyrics? 🙃

I think it'll miss the top 40 because

1) It's not a good song

2) It isn't going to attract a wide audience

Despite your personal opinion on it's lyrics and quality of the song, I can't see the follow up to one of the biggest songs of the year featuring Demi Lovato to miss the Top 40. It could even make it this week.

This sounds NOTHING like You Don't Know Me. Wtf

Oh just lol

This is an unadulterated hit if I ever heard one. An absolute bop.

Who gives a fxck that it's aimed at girls and gays?! It's production is striking enough to get the casual listeners attention and it will be a staple in clubs over the summer for sure.

My friends are LOVING this (male and female, straight and gay :P) - can see it being a massive top 5 personally!
