Simon Cowell jumping on a bandwagon. I'm very torn about this. I agree with everyone else saying a donation from at least Cowell if not some of those involved would show that this is being done in good faith and not just as a cynical sales/marketing opp.

Also agree, Bridge Over Troubled Water??? You could have picked any sweet song and you picked that? Guess we should thank our stars it wasn't something horribly inappropriate though given what it's connected with.

Supposedly, the 4 One Direction members are all making appearances on the song - I suppose this'll give it a few thousand more sales!

EDIT - also recently confirmed artists are Tokio Myers, Jorja Smith, Matt Terry & Rita Ora, revealed earlier.

Aaaand there goes the entire point of the song. What's the point of even releasing it if it'll have a 27-18-OUT chart run or something, they're better off to just hold it back to the 23rd.

Good old Pixie Lott and Tulisa, at least that proves without doubt that it's not just a load of failed popstars turning up in the faint hope of reviving their stone dead careers then.

As it stands, the all-star line up features: Angel, Anne-Marie, James Arthur, Carl Barat, James Blunt, London Community Gospel Choir, Ryan De La Cruz, Roger Daltrey, Craig David, Deno, Celine Dion, Donaeo, Mr Eazi, Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith, Shane Filan, Matt Goss, Tom Grennan, Jessie J, Louisa Johnson, Kelly Jones, Labrinth, Leona Lewis, Dua Lipa, Gareth Malone, Brian May ,Tokio Meyers, 5 After Midnight, John Newman, Rita Ora, Liam Payne, Gregory Porter, RAYE, Emeli Sande, Shakka, Jorja Smith, Dan Smith, Matt Terry, Louis Tomlinson, Tulisa, Jessie Ware, Robbie Williams and WSTRN.

The stars and producers have been gathering at Sarm Studios on Ladbroke Grove, half a mile from Grenfell Tower, and working tirelessly to get the single ready for release on Wednesday 21st June at 8am.

Because raising awareness and helping others is far more important than a chart position
