I have to be honest that I'm surprised they are pushing a track from their album because I thought that they were going with a new and unreleased song, mainly because they were struggling choosing one after "Something Just Like This".

 

I mean, "Break Up Every Night", "Wake Up Alone" and "Young" were contenders before "Honest". The former was performed at SNL, the Jhené Aiko featured song was sent (but not properly pushed) to US radio around April and the latter was performed at BBMA.

It's bland. They should start fishing from another pond tbh. I also don't think they're going anywhere with using the same vocals.
