November 4, 20177 yr Author Overnight ratings are still important though, and I can guarantee you it won't be back on BBC One if it continues to hit below 2 million for the rest of the series. It's not doing very well on iPlayer either.
November 4, 20177 yr Good show. It being on bbc 2 next week wont help viewing figures. The BBC website says it is on BBC1. I assume the following week (Children In Need) will see it moved to BBC2 or not on at all. I get the impression yesterday's programme (which I haven't seen yet) was better received than the first one. The hope, therefore, has to be that word gets around and that viewing figures improve as a result.
November 4, 20177 yr Yesterday’s was a million times better only one sketch compared to last weeks 3 and 3 performances in a row this week
November 10, 20177 yr The show seems to be getting better each week I think - five performances tonight and less sketches. Did Demi mess up on 'Instruction' though? After Stefflon's part, it sounded like she came in a line too late.
November 10, 20177 yr Tonight's was far better than the first one. They seem to have got the message that the non-music parts are not particularly popular.
November 10, 20177 yr Seems to have done naff all for Demi on ITunes though? So probably got about 5 viewers...
November 11, 20177 yr Author Tonight's was far better than the first one. They seem to have got the message that the non-music parts are not particularly popular. Well I think they responded by shortening the chats to fit in one extra performer, but the sketches are still there and still bad. However, the ratings recovered well this week. Up from 1.6m to 2.32m. If it can keep that up it might just get another chance. Though it wasn't up against Corrie last night. Edited November 11, 20177 yr by AcerBen
November 11, 20177 yr Seems to have done naff all for Demi on ITunes though? So probably got about 5 viewers... Both Stereophonics and Plan B have climbed so there has been some effect.
November 13, 20177 yr Craig David, Dan Smith, The Killers & Anne-Marie performing next week. Not sure why Dan Smith is without the rest of Bastille though?
November 13, 20177 yr I thought you mistakenly wrote Sam instead of Dan until the second sentence there. Hope the Killers perform a new single of WW!
November 14, 20177 yr The Killers should just perform Mr. Brightside- it'd get a bigger chart boost than any of their new stuff!
November 14, 20177 yr The Killers should just perform Mr. Brightside- it'd get a bigger chart boost than any of their new stuff! Imagine they actually performed that and it went Top 40 again  I really want them to just for the lolz!
November 14, 20177 yr Imagine they actually performed that and it went Top 40 again  I really want them to just for the lolz! Unfortunately, it would be on ACR for the week after the show :(
November 29, 20177 yr The show is co-hosted by BRIT Award winner Paloma Faith. One of only two British female artists to have three albums go double platinum, she performs two tracks live in studio, as well as introducing performances from chart-busting British singer Rita Ora and all-conquering rock duo Royal Blood.
November 30, 20177 yr I'm pretty sure Kasabian have a performance this week. They're on the following week with Rag'n'Bone Man and Dua Lipa is co-hosting.
