Grenfell only sold 7k yesterday when Descapito doubled that in one day

Although once again it's worth remembering that a large dollop of streaming seems to have been added today, so the gap being closed looks more drastic than it actually is. Nevertheless, I do expect Despacito to clinch the #1 quite easily.

Where's Melodrama and One Last Time please?

#11 and #12!

Could Melodrama go top 10? Thanks Joseph!!

It could, but Ed Sheeran's other album is right underneath Lorde :drama:

Done some calculating, and here are some estimated midweek chart positions for if the proposed new rules were in use.

Songs peaking further are:

17 Sigala/Ella Eye

18 Camila Cabello

20 Calvin Harris

23 Imagine Dragons - Thunder

25 Drake

27 Selena Gomez

28 Major Lazer

36 Hailee Steinfeld

38 Olly Murs

39 Imagine Dragons - Believer

(40 Lil Uzi Vert)

The big losers within the top 40 are Shape of You/Castle On The Hill which lose eight positions, and Did You See loses nine. Then we have the likes of Cheat Codes, Martin Jensen, Bruno Mars lose top 40 positions.

A shame these new rules mean Places won't get to continue its huge low top 40 run :(
Pleased Grenfell got to #1 though. Looking like Descapito will be back at #1 on Friday.

Personal view is that there is still a lot of missing Sales in Album update, Ed's Sales in Tuesday's update (15.7k) are less than last week's update (16.4k) which doesn't make a lot of sense given the expected Glasto boost.

Also Rag 'N' Bone's Sales are down by more than 3.5k, he should still make Top 5 but the drop is more than expected.

Finally really surprised to see Foo Fighters still at #7 given it has been in Top 3 of iTunes and Amazon over last 3 days.

Hope Radiohead can stay number 1 but I doubt it, he'll win with streams and they will with sales, He got double than them after his Glas.

Didn't last weeks chart include Father's day sales too, or was that the week before?

Yes, you are right, would have increased last week Sales for Ed and Rag 'N' Bone Man but I still expected their Sales to be up this week.

How are Little Mix ahead of Rita on midweeks again if Rita is ahead of them on Spotify and iTunes? Is it apple music/solo version of Power making up for this?

Is it declining in sales though? As it has climbed in position for the past two weeks.

Also surprised by this!

there are 3 versions of the song charting on the iTunes top 500, one top 10, one at 100-ish, and another one at 400-ish
MW is having a hissy fit still stuck on Monday's update :nocheer:
