I think in the next update we'll know more about how the Foo Fighters have sold, as they're #1 on iTunes and if they stay there, should have a chance of breaking the top 3 and potentially #1
Also orders of the 7" Vinyl of Wall of Glass have contributed to its top 40 position. Will drop out for sure by Friday.
Wow that's an impressive start for OK Computer. It will surely be incredibly front loaded though and I can see Ed passing it by the end of the week, still a great opening week for a 20 year old album in the current sales climate.

Yes! Despacito will be back to number 1 this Friday. :cheer:

On the other hand, poor Clean Bandit/Marina :(

It was interesting that Ed sang more songs in his Glastonbury set from Multiply ( 6 songs ) than Divide ( only 4 songs from regular edition including the 3 Singles and one of the least popular Eraser ) and as a consequence it does look like Multiply will get a bigger percentage boost.

Divide should still get close to 10k equivalent sales from streaming though and this will make difference against Radiohead and Foo Fighters.

Does glasto not have a bigger effect for so called older or more classic albums rather than current huge albums!?

Despacito as expected should take back number 1.

As for Divide I'm not expecting a huge boost this week. Seems Ed pleased his "already fans" rather than winning over the nay Sayers at Glasto. Still may see a few extra thousand shifted. 30k could be enough this week in the album chart.

Looking at Imagine Dragons, i'd be astounded if they didn't do more than Nickelback did last week, given the fact Nickelback haven't had a top-40 hit since 'Gotta Be Somebody' hit #20 in 2008, with their last album missing the mark a bit, and Imagine Dragons have already had a silver certified single and a single climbing the top 40 as we speak.

***ALERT***

New Joe Bonamassa album spotted in the midweeks! Sir Joe "Bonasmasha" "Bonama$$ive" Bonamassa coming to slay the album charts ONCE AGAIN! *.*

Looks like it is only one week at the top for the Grenfell single then, glad it did manage to make it there anyway. Not really worth commenting on anything else in that singles chart if we're missing 2 full days of streaming. Although it appears 'Smile For Bradley' is easily safe for a comfortable top 40 with the sales it has already, continuing the random resurgence of charity singles of late (does this one have any more media attention than the last Bradley Lowery-related charity single which IIRC missed the top 100 entirely at Christmas?)

Ed Sheeran should easily return to #1 on the album chart, but that is a very solid (re-)opening for Radiohead! A bit surprised 'A Moon Shaped Pool' has only gone back up to #39 thus far though. And I really hope Lorde can somehow sneak a second week in the top 10 albums, a drop to #11 is definitely not as bad as I was anticipating.

Despacito definitely coming for #1 this week then. Can't complain about that though when Grenfell has sold well and already got to #1.
I think Rita should hold onto #10, Shape was gaining on it yesterday but obviously that's had a Glasto effect, and a heap of streaming data has been added too so the gains may not be fully representative.
Grenfell only sold 7k yesterday when Descapito doubled that in one day
So Ed's reduced a 7,400 approx gap to 3,800 now. Surely he'll overtake by Friday.

Hopefully!
