Thats better than we were thinking.....!

Well, I'm glad they made it in considering the last single missed out. But it's a shame they don't get the kind of success overrated bands like Razorlight and My Chemical Romance get. :(

Why's this doing so well? :puke2:

Also two songs in the top ten based on old songs

At least my siggy worked a good number 4 :cheer: Been a bit busy, but now I'm replying for the number 1... Go Razorlight! :P xox.

'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' marks the celebratory return of everyone's favourite camp-as-Christmas glam rocking Americans, Scissor Sisters. Having paraded their distinctive blend of pop, disco and 70s rock to the top of the charts with their eponymous debut album in 2004, Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and co. deliver the feverishly exhilarating 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing', with a little help from friend and idol Elton John, which is the first single to be taken from their new album, 'Ta-Dah'. -HMV

It's round two for the Beatfreakz as they return with their infectious new single. Taken the all-time classic track 'SuperFreak' by the great funk star Rick James (from his 1981 smash album 'Street Songs') the 'Freakz are ready to storm the dancefloors yet again. - HMV

By the way Rick James' original version of Superfreak peaked at #16 on the US chart 25 years ago this month.

Also, are the regular human trying to get into the club near the end of the clip the actual performers of the record or just paid actors?

Did me turning up make it too many connections?!

Seem so

reviews

Sep 2006

After the success of their Top 3 single 'In The Morning', Razorlight's self-titled second album debuted at Number 1 for two weeks and reached platinum sales within just three weeks of release. This second single, 'America', is an anthem in the making, a poignant account of the band's well documented trials and tribulations during their American tour last year - HMV
