Missing out on a place in the Top 5 is 'I Don't Give A', the final of the album's three vocal collaborations to leave. It's a hip-hop inspired number, with 'American Life'-esque rap verses highlighting the life of M and takes sniping references to her divorce. The chorus is the peak of self-assurance/arrogance as Madonna assures her haters she doesn't give two hoots about what they think. Nicki's verse fits seamlessly with the mood of the song as she delivers her usual, quotable lyrics galore rap. It's a fierce, slightly obnoxious, f*** you anthem, seemingly something Madonna needed to just get off her chest.
