That is amazing! Really like this new rule for freshening the charts back to almost pre streaming era levels. Even if the chart is now not reflective of streaming/buying habits because of the new rules. The chart being entertaining to follow and not stale is more important. Most of these songs listed here have had more than enough time in the charts already (even the Disciples one which has had less time in the chart).

Oh yeah you said in the first post, soz! Did you manage to work out how many weeks of decline these had? I make it that they were all on at least 4 last week, but it's difficult to tell

My spreadsheet calculates week-by-week % sales changes, but since they are based on estimates, rather than actual sales (in most cases), it is far from definitive. From experience, I've found my estimates can be 5-10% out for individual items, especially where there are large position/sales gaps between known figures.

So castle on the hill would have fallen out regardless?

I have no idea. :(

What I can say though, is that sales towards the bottom of the T75 are about 1/3rd lower than last week.

So Despacito has fallen 3 weeks running and charted for 15 weeks. Does that mean the Number 1 will be affected this week?

Edit - There's a Sales thread missing from the forum history!! Maybe it increased that particular week

Thanks. Should be Wild Thoughts at Number 1 the following week then barring a nosedive or a huge new release.

Who's at risk of falling under a 300:1 ratio this week then?

It's on post 23.

I don't think I'm the One is receiving ACR this week, it's down to #12 in today's midweeks.

On the other hand (no pun intended), Niall Horan seems to be on ACR now as he's down 12 places to #27.

Damn, hopefully "Despacito" will just keep falling in sales now.

It will increase in two weeks due to NOW 97 unless iTunes make the track album-only

I really don't like this change messing with all the positions.
Hopefully Despacito does <78k, then it's on!!!

It sold 78,307 last Friday so even if it sells 78,306 this Friday, the ratio will increase next week

Not necessarily. Its decrease in sales has to be greater than the week-on-week decrease in the overall market. If the overall market decreases more than Despacito does, then it doesn't count as a decline for Despacito.

Tracks avoiding ACR next week as all have increased sales this week include:

Miley Cyrus - Malibu

J Hus - Did You See

The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Something Just Like This

The Killers - Mr Brightside (this could be top 40 next week!)

John Gibbons - PYT
