Faint at that promo :drama: The song lends itself to great staging on the XF so the impact could be huge whilst also being a new dynamic for Kylie who hasn’t pushed a duet properly for a long time.

Also it’s worded that that special edition is just a 1,500 run of cassettes! If that is the case what a missed opportunity!

If its only a 1,500 run of cassettes that is the promo lined up it wont make much of a difference.

Its likely on the week of release it will boost sales of 800 as the remainder will be sold outside the UK.

Il be really disappointed if that's it,as I want a new cd version and I still think we will get the re release that will have the golden tour dvd.
I will be disappointed if there is no re release seems such a wasted opportunity.... however the success at this latest promo is fantastic I reckon it will be added to.

Still hopeful we will get something - some of the big Q4 albums are out now so they will need to fight for space and sales. MTSWY will certainly help the album sell but a CD/Vinyl repackage would make a massive difference. I’m not convinced we’ll get a repackage with the tour DVD and instead get it released as a stand-alone package to create an opportunity to rinse the fans with multiple special editions

I suppose on one hand, if it can achieve some decent Q4 sales without the aid of a re-release that will make it seem like an even more impressive achievement.

If tge album can stay on the chart in q4 without a re issue it would be great but I fear it will get lost among the enivitabe new releases and possibly Christmas albums.

Yes even with the promo coming up there are some big releases coming and Q4 is fierce so a new edition would make sure it’s back in Tesco, Asda etc., for the Christmas market and is visible otherwise like you say I think it will get totally overlooked.

I’d love a studio version of New York City added on to a bonus disc although it totally doesn’t fit in with the theme of the album.

The final single from Kylie Minogue's Number 1 album Golden has been revealed.

Music Week has confirmed that the fifth track to be released from the Pop Princess' sixth chart topping record will be the last, and is Music's Too Sad Without You.

The country-tinged ballad is a duet with Jack Savoretti, also signed to the same label as Kylie, BMG. The song was co-written by both artists alongside Samuel Dixon who has worked with the likes of Adele, Sia, Carly Rae Jepsen and Christina Aguilera.

Music Week has also disclosed that Music's Too Sad Without You will be promoted with performances on The X Factor, The Jonathan Ross Show, and Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

Golden's first-week sales surpassed those of Kylie's previous three albums The Abbey Road Sessions, Kiss Me Once and Kylie Christmas, and the LP is the best-selling 2018 release by an international female artist. The album and its lead single Dancing were big sellers on vinyl too, while Golden is the best-selling cassette of the year so far.

Love that OCC keep reporting on it - this could give Golden such a huge boost.

I have to say I’m getting less and less optimistic about a repackage of the album, I would have thought we’d have details by now to go with the MTSWY announcement.

The promotion looks solid for tge single and who knows it just may be enough to keep the album selling without a reissue,I myself would prefer a reissue though as I think it would give the album a chance of making 200,000.
Doesn’t sound like there will be a proper reissue on CD. I was hoping we would get a few extra tracks like New York City! Kinda disappointing as would have helped to boost sales during Q4.
The OCC are all over this - they have even added it to their Instagram story!
They must be big fans of the song, and rightly so as it is stunning.

I hope their excitement is due to BMG pushing it so hard to media - really looking forward to them coming through on this release, if they need to make any of the singles count aside from Dancing then it’s certainly this one!

It looks like that this will be a single they are looking to count and will handle it better than Golden and A Lifetime To Repair.

I hope jack is also available for all the promo.

I’m sure he will be - this kind of exposure has got to be huge for him as I doubt he’d get XF exposure etc., for one of his solo singles?
