April 25, 20187 yr Salah is some player. He's pushing himself into the Messi/Ronaldo elite group. His numbers this season are better. He needs to do it consistently across another couple of seasons to be classed as an elite but he is something else. He certainly has more of an influence consistently right now, well maybe on the same level as Messi. For the past few years Ronaldo just either seems to be the worst player on the pitch or just becomes an absolute goal machine.
May 1, 20187 yr How lucky were Madrid tonight!? Think either Roma or Liverpool would cause them massive problems.
May 1, 20187 yr Real Madrid have been lucky throughout the tournament to be honest, there have been multiple occasions where only one more goal would have knocked them out. The winning goal from Benzema was very unfortunate for Bayern's goalkeeper.
May 2, 20187 yr Whilst it's true they've been lucky they have had to overcome 2 of the other best teams in Europe back to back and had either of Juve or Bayern progressed instead they would have also scraped their respective tie. They'll still the best team in Europe & on the verge of an unprecedented CL treble! Liverpool can definitely beat them but they'll have to take any early chances they can as the longer the game progresses I can only see Madrid winning. Should be a fascinating watch!
May 2, 20187 yr GREAT to be back in the final!!! Tough game, but was always to be expected. Dzeko was awesome. Go in to the final as underdogs and whilst I fully expect Real Madrid to score, I also don't think they will be able to cope with the pace we have so it makes up for an interesting occasion.
May 2, 20187 yr Liverpool came agonisingly close to bottling the huge lead they had after the 1st leg! The Champions League final looks like it will be a goal fest and maybe the most entertaining final since the 2005 final which also coincidently featured Liverpool. Hopefully Madrid will make it La decimotercero in Kiev!

Who cares :D Was always going to be a difficult game, Dzeko caused us all sorts of problems but we seemed to be stuck in 2nd gear for most of the game. Doesn't help we have a few injuries in the same area either. The final will be a close game, if we win it will be a bonus. The good thing is as a Liverpool fan is this side isn't light years away from being pretty decent.

Hopefully Madrid will make it La decimotercero in Kiev! Surely you will be going for the English team to triump?! :P
May 3, 20187 yr Surely you will be going for the English team to triump?! :P Nah, no way. Hala Madrid! :D The only time I've supported an English team in the Champions League final apart from Man United was Chelsea in 2012 but that was because they had come so close many times to winning it in the years leading up to that final.
May 3, 20187 yr Well put it this way, would any Liverpool fan be supporting United if we ever make it back to a final? I highly doubt it. I was supporting Chelsea in 2012 too, they were SUCH underdogs & that second Semi leg against Barca was one of the best matches I've ever seen for pure drama & twists.
May 4, 20187 yr Author Yeh I'm only winding yous up lol. No way would I support united in any game of football. Was gutted in 2008! I'm not English tho!!
May 24, 20187 yr I find it hard to predict as I literally have no idea, there are so many variables. Experience counts in these games, I think the first goal is crucial. If Liverpool score first then I think we have a really good chance. I'm more worried about Madrid scoring a goal or two and totally killing the game off through their dark arts. We go in as the underdogs but to be expected really. Win or lose Liverpool are on the up, winning would just be the icing on the cake. I just hope we give a good performance, suspect if Madrid decide to attack us it will be a very open game.
