On paper it's looking like a Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal final is highly likely to happen. I can't see anything other than Atletico winning it, they are even stronger favourites than Man United were last season.

It should be an entertaining match between Atletico Madrid & Arsenal tonight. A draw would be a good result for Arsenal as long as they stop Atletico from scoring an away goal, I think it will be a 2-1 win for Atletico though.

That was a squandered opportunity for Arsenal after having more dominance than Atletico Madrid for most of the match not to mention Atletico have a player and their manager sent off early on. You would expect Atletico to finish Arsenal off in the home leg next week, another season in the Europa League beckons for Arsenal.

What happened with the sendings off?

Not great to see the A-hole that is Diego Costa score the first goal for Atletico.

A sad end for Arsene Wenger not getting the European final that he wanted. I imagine there will be a lot of rants from Arsenal fans tonight.

Yeah that is a shame for him & the club but Atletico are a much better team so it isn't that much of a surprise result. Could be seeing 2 European trophies making their way to Madrid this year...

I'd be surprised if Marseille beat Atletico in the final.

Seemed to be that Atletico just dominated the game although Marseille had a chance early on in the game.

 

 

They took their early chance and Marseille didn't, once Payet came off that was it for them. Grizmann a class act as ever - his first ever European trophy and could be his last game for them.
