Yeah it really was a terrible episode :mellow: the cliffhanger was interesting but my hopes are low considering EE has been a consistent let down this year.

What happened?

A low-budget horror rip-off version of Carrie worse than the 1999 version. It was awful.

 

Well the teens are by far my favourite storyline and have been for months so I thoroughly enjoyed this, some of the cinematography with the use of Verge in the background was beautiful. The ending was a little predictable as soon as we saw lots of candles but probably the most gripping episode since Ronnie/Roxy for me which used similarly amazing cinematography.

See the cinematography ruined it for me :lol: If it had just happened, fine, and it's a good cliffhanger as I am interested to see what happens after. But they forced it into seeming like a bigger event with everything from the way they entered the prom, the way Louise fell, and how Bex looked back at the end presumably to see Louise's dress on fire, with cringey special effects so it really did feel like a Lifetime remake of Carrie...

The only good thing in that episode was Lisa turning up for 2 seconds at the end.

 

Everything to do with the school was terrible.
