Loved Mr Pryce randomly wandering into the middle of the square to immediately change the topic of conversation.

I always forget that Jack is Sonia's uncle. Have they ever shared significant screen time?

Abi continues to carry the show. Fed up of hearing that 40 year old grown man Mick couldn't 'cope'.

Poor Keanu. There have been no less than 4 murderers wandering around Albert Square without hassle for the past two years and yet he's the outsider because he stole a bench for a laugh.

Interesting set up for tomorrow's episode... I was just expecting him to say he'd kissed Whitney again not that he's in love with her
Looks like they're definitely going to push this Sonia/Gethin Pryce thing as he is definitely moving to the square

What are the chances Bex falls for him too? Carol/Bianca and Dan mark 2.

In other news, I don't think there's ever been an episode I've wanted to get out of the way more than tonight's. I predict it will be horrendous.

Or 'you sold the freehold behind my back' which was to solve the money woes that he was comically incapable of solving and tbh it was his mother that forged his signature.

Love the bit where Linda ordered Whitney out of the pub, giving her the marching orders, rest of the episode was pretty dull to be honest.
Linda battering Whitney was the only good moment. Hearing Mick bleat on about how Linda wasn't there isn't what I want for an entire episode

I loved Linda laying into both Mick and Whitney-basically saying everything I've been saykh about them/Lee's depression since Christmas. Their comebacks were truly as pathetic as expected. Loved Whit's 'if you weren't swanning off to ya muvva!' as if caring for Elaine post stroke was some sort of jolly. And what a bitch Whitney is, turning on Mick after all that. Danny Dyer's acting throughout the episode was truly woeful.

I want Linda to get rid for good but she'll have him back by Christmas for sure.

The storyline seems to he headed for the lovey duvey reunion of Mick and Linda for Christmas.
That isn't too surprising, that character is being written into a corner.
The leaving cast member is

Aaron Sidwell! He will be leaving at the end of Steven's current storyline

That's great news, can't stand that character.

Surely no one asked for that many scenes of just Mick and Jack.

I need Linda to keep treating Mick with contempt.

I love Jack not being arsed to take his kids camping which is what they want to do and the fact that he's much more interested in looking after Albert Square's biggest man baby.

"I'd rather chew my right arm off" *points to left arm*

I know Jack's stupid but I didn't realise he was that simple.

As for the three-hander, I did enjoy it. Linda/Kellie obviously stole the show and I loved her screaming at Whitney and defending Lee. Whitney's turned into a shitty character but Shona's still a great actress and did a cracking job too. I wasn't too keen on how things just seemed to go round in circles as far as the dialogue was concerned. When it comes to long scenes involving very little characters, the two main things to make it work is strong character performances and snappy dialogue. I felt the latter wasn't sustained.

I watched the Kat and Alfie two-hander from 2004 a few months back where Alfie finds out Kat slept with Andy but she defends herself by saying she did it to pay of Alfie's debts so to speak and stop Andy from hurting Alfie. Incredibly strong performances from both actors in question, but the other thing that stuck in my mind was the fantastic dialogue. It was snappy, clever and made you think. I felt myself really agreeing with what Kat was saying but then switching and really backing Alfie. With Tuesday's episode, I could only side with Linda. Mick's excuses were pathetic because he is pathetic and Whitney needs to learn to take responsibility for herself.

Doesn't look like we'll be getting a Mark Jr return any time soon as Ned Porteous has jumped ship to Emmerdale
