Given the wedding is now on Halloween, there's bound to be a big reveal then with all the Steven and Brannings stuff coming to a head. They'll all be safe!

Yay at Bert being back though which hopefully means this silly Jay storyline doesn't get dragged out for too long although I vaguely remember Bert or having a clue Jay existed initially!

Bert may not have been my first choice for a return (he ranks somewhere behind SHENICE) but it certainly is welcome to help try and sort this shit Jay storyline out.

As for the death, I'm actually going a bit out there and considering

Jane. Steven is quite obvious since we know he's leaving but perhaps we're having an embargoed exit? She's been heavily involved with Walford in Bloom, she and Max have scenes later this week, the wheelchair would hinder her chances of escape, Bobby is now talking to her again (and the mileage of stories for teenage Bobby if him causing her to be wheelchair bound indirectly causes her death) and this would halt her and Ian's plans to move (let's be fair, this isn't happening soon.

But let's face it, it's SOC. It will either be the death of community spirit, someone's wheelybin or Denise's GCSE certificate.

Just bring Les and Pam back instead tbh. Especially CHRISTINE.

Was she in the park with Mick and Jay? My mum mentioned something but I had totally missed it, which is odd as I'm usually the one to notice weird things like that.

It's so weird seeing Bert on screen again. It's hard pinpoint why exactly, but partly because he's a character who mainly appeared in 2006 which is kind of a no man's land between the incredible 2005 and the start of a new era with 2007. He also shared a lot of scenes with Pauline and 2006 was when the show utterly destroyed her character and I suppose seeing him brings me right back to that period.

The way Mick spoke to Linda throughout the episode was disgusting.

Loved Dot's addiction rant whilst lighting up.

I can't deal with more of Ian's alien crying.

Honey

"I didn't realise you had a big one, Patrick" :heehee:

I think the Beales are safe, regarding the Monday episode, I reckon it be just a random character we don't know... mind you it could be Kush who is taking a break to do Strictly, with just minor injuries.

Everyone having to say "Walford in bloom!" when the photo got taken, Stephen dragging it on further......

Please end this rubbish now!!!.

At least it wasnt as bad as "I've... got nothing left!!!...", but I still agree.

Did no one else notice the best line ever tonight?

Michelle: jane! It's great to see you back on your feet again!

Michelle has never seen Jane out of a wheelchair.

I think there are hints of a shock death for Jane but I think it'll be a red herring. I'll just be so disappointed if it's only Steven that gets killed.

I really hope it is not Jane, I like her and her character and I dont want to have to cope with Ian grieving for an age and losing another wife, but it does all seem to point to her.... Moving away flat found deposit ready, Bobby putting on phone list, Walking virtually unaided, Walford in bloom her thing etc so it does all seem to point to her. I see a lot on digispy praying for it to be her for the whole Lucy thing but I often forget she even did anything in that story so I don't mind her staying.

I think Kush in for some injury or something as the platform him and Martin put together then Shrimpy saying all the screws they left unused so thats bound to collapse with either Kush on it or someone else.. Stacey?

I think EE really ramped itself up over the last few weeks, its good having Linda back and next week is all guns blazing from the looks of it, I just hope it doesn't fizzle out within an episode.
