I feel like we're already seeing John Yorke's influence. Fi's scenes on Friday, although good and acted greatly by Lisa Faulkner, were quite out of the blue and seemed to dominate the episode, as if it had replaced something really shit or an embarrassing attempt at comedy. Notice how little we've seen of Robbie recently or Dot and Dave sagas. Wouldn't be surprised if all of Lisa Fowler's recent scenes were John's idea too, given they were largely all at a different set to what we're used to.

I'm sure we haven't had any community center references for a while? :o

EDIT: Come to think of it, we've also had a LOT less Denise compared to when she absolutely dominated over the summer.

Exclusive first look at Kat's return scene:

It's all beeps, how f***ing annoying

Looks like Phil is back in hospital, I should imagine he is alright, those bin liners should have cushioned him a bit... I can't see anyone getting killed off by that blast.
Completely unexpected.. like how did the explosion even happen? Thought it might have been from Karen smoking or something

So explosions can randomly happen for no reason now? At one point I thought it could be Joyce's cooking but I couldn't see if she had a gas hob.

Does Jane know too much now? Was I right with my hunch?

The writing for all this protesting is so shit I actually felt sorry for the mayor.

I think the gas explosion was deliberate, You heard something metal get hit while Phil was looking at the square just before it went, probably a protester hitting it so if anyone does die from that little gas pipe bit then no-one on the square be done for it.

And how fast can Jane move these days she was all over that square in different locations on her crutches, home, outside launderette, back home, cafe, home, beales ... I really do feel she knows too much but I really hope it isn't her who dies

It all felt a bit Murder She Wrote as Jane fit the pieces of the puzzle of 2017 together bit by bit across a half hour period  I also hope she's not the one to die. Maybe the death comes as a result of whoever Ted shoots later in the week, rather than the gas explosion, unless Jane is indeed killed off by Max/Steven.

Can't that mayor go into Walford without being abused by morons?.

The actors who played the protesters came across as people who couldn't act. Throwing a cream pie was also poor writing.

I am thinking the "best" death we can hope for is a Jane shock but I hope not, I can't see how else the Steven stuff would be kept under wraps until the wedding? I guess she did hide Lucy's body and keep that from Ian so not telling him or Lauren that Steven is lying should be a doddle. Or she could be badly injured again I suppose and just not recover before the wedding. I still think it will be Ingrid, Digital Spy has revealed who's safe and

Fi is in it, she'd have been my other guess maybe.

I think I know who got the bullet... one of the

Taylors or Patrick
