Ugh, I hate Lauren so much. Abi is such a f***ing queen.

Screaming at how much a dead ringer for Grampa Munster Shirley actually is.

I love how Sonia dressed as herself for Halloween

I hate where Bex is going with this storyline. Only 18 months ago she was telling anyone who would listen that Jay was a dirty perv and earlier this year she judged Michelle for her actions and now she’s going after a teacher herself. And Mr Pryce is a dick too for allowing any of it to happen.

I wouldn’t have paid for it, it’s probably full of scenes where Amy and Ricky open presents, mick and Linda do Christmas karaoke and Denise oversees community spirit.

Speaking of which, are they not doing a Christmas show this year?

Abi doing a full "sorry the old Abi can't come to the phone right now" at Lauren's what happened to the old nice Abi *.*

Abi is brilliant. I know she’s been shit to Lauren but I don’t care. Lauren is shit.

Loved Billy ‘Amy’s her muvvas dorta, she knows how to take care of herself.’ Let’s just remind ourselves that Amy’s mother spent her last days off her face on crack and went into cardiac arrest and drowned in a hotel swimming pool.

I’d like to say not even SOC would be idiotic enough to kill Janet off but I’m honestly not too sure.

Omg I died at Billy

I spent the whole episode waiting for Emma Barton to pull it out the bag with her reaction to finding Janet and she didn't disappoint.

The Bex/Louise scenes could have been good but we've not seen anything of Louise and her experience since she got the scars and I can't stand Bex.

Abi and Lauren showing signs of listening to one another and empathising with each other - gotta be a first right?

Tbh I’ve really wanted Abi to just let Lauren have it all week and it still hasn’t happened.
Why do they keep making their lesbians bisexual??

They don’t, they won’t use the word bisexual. Characters just switch from gay to straight and then back again. Remember when Sonia got with Tina? The whole square said she was a raging lesbian despite the fact she clearly likes men too. And let’s not forget that Steven’s coming out from 2008 was never mentioned once in his last stint.

There were moments tonight when I was willing both Billy and Lauren to drop dead where they stood.

Quite annoys me how sexuality is sometimes mishandled on Eastenders.

It's a problem in most soaps tbh, I think Corrie is quite good (the Rana/Kate thing for example feels much more real as Rana is exploring the feelings and is unsure, rather than in most soaps where the person seems to instantly flip and everyone labels them as gay) but Eastenders and Hollyoaks in particular seem to just deal with it SO badly, as if bisexuality isn't a thing  It's completely lazy writing, Tina has split up with Sonia and there's no other lesbians so they just turn her "straight". I suppose she may be bisexual bc she had a daughter, but I was under the impression she was young and confused and realised she's a lesbian later. I'm sure there's been loads of times that she's said words to the effect of "men do nothing for me"but now she's back to men just because the writers can't be arsed to give her a proper storyline

The whole Steven thing was the worst imo like he was gay when he was last in it (could have been bi iirc) and comes back a couple of years later and is straight LMAO.

It doesn’t help that in every scene she’s in, her family go out of their way to say she’s a lesbian. She hasn’t slept with a woman all year and yet will have shagged 2 men by next week. She slept with Billy once when she first joined and explained that she was blind drunk and that’s the only time she can sleep with men. And yet I can’t remember her being drunk when she slept with Woody.

Did anyone else not care about a whole episode between two characters talking about something that happened nearly 30 years ago?
