Yeah, this was a pretty great episode, could have done without the Max spit, but you know - little niggles.

f***ing STANNING Lauren, why does she have to get amazing when she's about to leave ?
I thought the episode was pretty underwhelming tbh. Jake Wood put in a good performance but the script wasn't really that interesting, especially not for Simon Ashdown.
Like, I'm glad other people enjoyed it and Lord knows we've been crying out for this sort of praise, but the script was definitely an issue for me. It seemed to go over trodden ground and there was too many repetitive questions being flung around with no-one really answering them without responding with another question. Doesn't help that Lauren is such a hypocrite and has to be the centre of everything either.
Tonight was the best episode in a long long time. I am finally starting to actually ENJOY Eastenders! :o
I thought it'd take a good couple of months to see any kind of improvement. I honestly can't believe the change in the feel of the show since SOC's name stopped clogging up the credits. Just wow.

Strong episode tonight again, the jump in quality in the last week is incredible.

Tonight had the balance of touching on the past with what's happening now.

I do now think Max will get killed off as of the quick focus on the photo of him and Bradley on the floor for me had significance.

It's so good to watch an enjoyable episode and been excited for the next one, welcome back eastenders.

Lauren draggedT Stacey and I kind of loved it
Abi is such a needy muppet, she’s so my fave.

Edited by Nadolig Llawen!

The inclusion of Stacey's part in wrecking the Branning Family was an excellent point to address. That said, Max and Stacey have a very genuine affection for each other and at this point Stacey is the only person Max would protect which would indicate their affair was of genuine feelings.

The needy side of Abi and to an extent her naivety is what is great about her character and i will miss her when she leaves. She is my favourite character from the younger cast in the show.

Very enthralling episode, 2nd best of the year, i slightly enjoyed Mondays episode more. I have loved this weeks episodes and i am already excited for tonight's episode.

Danny Dyer is by far the worst actor on this show... The fact he wins all the awards is ridiculous!

There are far worse tho...

Harry stop thinking with your penis ffs :kink: he is awful
Danny is mid table on the acting,he is terrible at crying/upset look scenes though.Phils "bad boy" laugh is starting to grate on me though.
There is no actor anywhere near as bad as Johnny on the show, even Robbie is much better.
