Lisa *.*

They've given her such a character assassination the past year or so, hopefully it gets fixed now she's back! Says it all that the only interesting thing in the last few weeks is Lisa walking through a door for 2 seconds

But if she lives so close, where was she when Louise nearly died the first time and why has she never even visited once??
I always liked Lisa so it's great she is back although I wish it wasn't with Sean o connors work, slight improvement this week in the show but the execution of Louise's accident scene lacked the oomph to make big impact.

I don't think Lucy Benjamin was keen on coming up unless it's for a good story (which she's said this is), but even so they should have wrote it better like she was ill or got a job abroad or something and that's why Louise is staying with Phil when she's just down the road it seems silly  Even if she wasn't on screen they could have mentioned things like "her mum came round today" "Louise has gone to see her mum" which would be fine just to make it a bit more believable.

The same could be said about a lot of the characters like Stacey and even mentioning/seeing the other Slaters (though Kat and Alfie got a mention pre-Redwater) in the same way that Abi always seems to be visiting Tanya.

They have got better at integrating past characters such as Jean, Libby, Ryan, Glenda and now even Pam and Yolande to make it more realistic.

Also,

seems Whitney is returning w/c 31st July

Lisa's scenes in 2010 if anyone's interested:

I'm guessing they'll go down the breakdown route again (tbf it's the only reasonable explanation).

Finally, an episode I quite enjoyed! I liked the Sharon/Lisa scenes and them retracing history; for the most part, it felt quite natural and appropriate, aside from the "haha Shirley shot Phil too" gag which could have been left out. I also liked that what happened to Louise seemed to touch other residents in the square - that's the sort of community that should be being presented.

Looking forward to seeing the Lisa and Phil scenes later this week.

Yeah that was the best episode in ages I think, really loved the Lisa/Sharon scenes, and even the usually tedious Lauren/Steven moments were tackled well.
Finally an episode I could enjoy! Loved the Lisa / Sharon scenes and it bodes well for the Phil & Lisa scenes that are to come!

Not gonna lie, for a lot of that I was legit hoping an rubber duck pond would appear and Sonia/Lisa could push Sharon into it.

And what is Lucy Benjamin taking? How does she appear to have decreased 7 years in age rather than increased?

Another spoiler for Whitney,

she's going to come back engaged to Woody!

Omg can't we just kill her off?

Lmao!!! She really has no chill does she?
I just don't get it, if she wants to be a 1950s housewife, why does she keep getting engaged to men with absolutely no prospects?

"I WILL WIPE YOU OUT!!" Omg I'm stanning Lisa so much. *.*

A shame that Phil and Lisa didn't put the past behind them, I feel like that would have been good development instead of bringing back the King Phil routine.
