Why are people shocked by the Script their first two albums established them well and so surely have a decent fanbase!

Two Ghosts is impacting soon :P I doubt it would be a hit regardless of when it was sent out, but it should sell the album.

Why not? He's pretty relevant in the charts and I'm sure he'll get a few promo slots with radio airplay!

It doesn't sound much like a hit single to me (nor does anything else on the album), but I guess that's not the intent anyway. The album is probably his and the label's priority, it normally is for artists that make that kind of music.

It's Radio 1's Track of the Weekend so not quite no support :P

Good point, surely when he's got a new film out and is on people's minds is an ideal time to put a single out to radio, even if he can't do promotional performances for a few weeks.

Playlisting will kick in properly from tomorrow and there's still the video to come, whenever that will be.

I'd be surprised if it outpeaked Be The One, or Hotter Than Hell for that matter but I guess it could push for top 20, which by all means is extremely impressive for the 97th single of the album!

The Script's new track sounds like the perfect mix of Shape Of You and Despacito.

 

I do quite like it but its a shame too see so many bands of their type making very generic sounding music nowadays.
