Didn't MNEK work on a track for Salute? I'm probably wrong with my memory!

It's so unlikely they'd ever go back to the DNA sound but if they can continue the progression from Get Weird to Glory Days onto the next album, I can see myself getting behind them again.

Jade got a special delivery while they were in the studio- from McVities! Part of me is excited to hear new music from the girls, but part of me is worried that they may be releasing LM5 while still touring Glory Days

Realistically they wouldn't be able to get an album recorded in that short amount of space that meets the demands of the label. They had a very clear vision of how they wanted Salute to turn out and that still took a good five months. On that assumption it took five months this time, they'd be finished by January and they did say at the 2015 Brits (February) they'd decided the lead for the next campaign. So before I ramble on any further, I think they'll start their next album campaign next April/May time with a decent summer build up to an album release end of Q3 or very early Q4 latest.

He worked on a certain song of theirs called 'Touch'.

I hope this album won't sound so obviously rushed and hurriedly put together like Glory Days if it's sooner than we think.

Glory Days 7,000 (904,000 total)

One of the album writers also received a plaque today for over 1 million sales of Glory days so that must be with streams.

The above is pure sales.

Nope. The sales starting from January 2017 (I think?) included streams.

This is where the 'pretends to be shocked' gif comes in handy. It was inevitable they would have a single to premiere during the X Factor live shows

Little Mix say we can expect to hear new music from them very soon

The group are working hard on the follow-up to their hugely successful Glory Days album.

We're not sure where Little Mix have found the time, but they've assured us that more new music is on its way very soon.

Between releasing four albums in five years and their non-stop touring across the world (their 37-date UK arena tour kicks off next month), Jesy, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne have been back in the studio working on the follow-up to last year's chart-topping Glory Days album.

Asked when we can expect the follow-up during an interview at the iHeart Music Festival in Las Vegas earlier this week, Jesy said: "Very soon my friend, very soon."

"We like to tease, we like to say soon. I feel really bad when we say that." Perrie added, while Jade said: "Soon means we can't tell you because we'll get told off by our label."

It's safe to say we can expect something sooner rather than later, right?

Glory Days has been Little Mix's most successful album yet on the Official Chart, and holds the record for the longest reigning Number 1 album for a girl group in the UK since the Spice Girls' debut in 1996. To date, it's notched up 675,000 combined sales.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if they had exactly the same release strategy of 'surprise' premiering the lead single on The X Factor...

This week's edition of Music Week announces that Glory Days: The Platinum Edition will be released November 24th, featuring three new tracks, 'Reggaeton Lento', and their Kid Ink, Machine Gun Kelly and Stormzy collabs.
A re-release!! Hopefully we won't get only 1 single.

Ew I’d scrap kid inc please, it’s awful
Will the single mixes replace the album versions of "Power", "No More Sad Songs" and whatever Kid Ink features on? Because if not there'll be 19 tracks on the standard edition of this re-release, a bit too many for an overall average album.

does this mean reggaeton lento is the "lead" single?

Pretty sure they'll treat the next one as the lead...

I see them on November 19th so hopefully that means we'll hear some new material. Kinda hoping this won't feel like overload to the general public, that's only 6 weeks away and Reggaeton Lento is still top 5 and not showing signs of dying off yet.

Yeah, I'm confused as to whether the 3 new songs are just the 3 remixes, or whether they're actual new songs. I imagine it's the latter.

Very excited anyway! Can't WAIT to see the BTS documentary  They're really serving the goods this era!
