Bit of a dull show tonight, the last guy who sang Angels and Heaven was a tad boring, it just felt he was singing for his other half, which felt she has departed from this world recently. :(
What the f*** was that cover of Lucky by Britney  jesus christ

Ed Sheeran styleee

Rebecca has an amazing voice but she fels a bit awkward atm, she's one to watch I think!

The girls and overs are running away this year.

I feel we've had so many like her that do the exact same style & all sound the same, yawn.

Ginny Lemon was definitely my fave tonight

Ginny Lemon was bad as was the lad in heels, I don't get it, no one really stood out in a good way tonight

Edited by Simon.

Sax *.*

is getting performed tomorrow!

Talia is our winner, stop the auditions now.

Cracked me up when she said she had pics with Nicole in her flight uniform

I wasn't impressed with the mediocre KC overloads - two of my faves butchered :drama:

I definitely preferred last weeks cohort as I found this weeks very forgettable.

Just caught up on tonight's episode. The Girls and the Overs are definitely the strongest categories this year (so far), although I must say I'm a bit surprised

Nicole has landed the Overs

since I feel like she'd work with any category but that.

Even though she'd

be in that category as a contestant I find her own music isn't suited to that demographic which is probably why it feels alien but definitely would work with any other!

When the voice over person was talking about The X Factor competition he said that one of the prizes are tickets to the final on December 2nd. I guess this means they no longer care about getting the Christmas number one.

Thank god for that.

They ruined the tradition for yeaaars out of Simon Cowell's ego.

In all the years X Factor has been on, Louis has never had the Girls category.

Nicole's category is not so bad really when you think about it, she could have acts between the ages of 25 to 33 as her final 3.

Yeah I've noticed that ^^ I think they're always so desperate so get a huge female star to win that they wouldn't trust Louis to not completely balls it up as a mentor. In fact only one series in the show's history has had a male mentor for the Girls (which was Simon last year).

What is the cut-off for the Overs this year? It seems to deviate between 24, 25 or 28+ every series. Overs have also won the comp 3 times so it's by no means a tainted category - that would for sure be the Groups.

Hearing the final is on the 2nd December, puts the winners single out of contention for the Xmas #1, unless they are going to wait for a week before releasing it this year, so it could have a full week of sales instead of the usual 4.

tonight's songs

Whitney Houston - I'm Every Woman

Naughty Boy - Runnin (Lose It All)

Whitney Houston - I Have Nothing

Drake - Hotline Bling

Elvis - Can't Help Falling in Love

Ellie Goulding - Your Song

Sam Smith - Lay Me Down

'Punchline' (original, Aidan Martin)

Fleur East - Sax

'Sing It With Me' (original, Andy Holloway)

quite a boring song list save for

Drake/Fleur

.

The Cutkelvins are on tonight which feature a former Neon Jungle member!

They were also the stand-out act at the Six Chair session I saw but I won't say what happened...
