Great start for this, especially considering it isn't on hot songs!

from previous thread

Did you actually read my post lol ~

Global Radio care about the winner of the XF. Hence why they're playing the song he's on. x

To also carry on from the previous thread and your quote; I still feel that this has come out of no where. I can't say that there seems to be any buzz around this remix whatsoever. Let alone substantial enough to have carried it to 80% on iTunes - which is an extremely impressive achievement. The songs success so far has been very instant and it clearly isn't going anywhere.

Matt Terry might be scoring big airplay on Global's radio stations but he certainly doesn't have the star power to shoot a song up iTunes like this. I'd also be inclined to say that I don't believe Capital FM alone really has that much influence on the iTunes charts nowadays - just look at Louisa Johnson.

The song certainly wouldn't be as high as it is if it weren't for Global Radio giving it tons of airplay though, let's not forget airplay still has a significant effect on the iTunes chart.

People need to stop thinking that it takes huge impact to reach a very high position on itunes. Matt terry and his however many followers on twitter could easily get the what 1k or 2k it takes these days to get high up on itunes, then some airplay to keep a steady few sales. However that fanbase wont be able to do much at all for it on spotify, it would need genuinely big airplay and playlists for that.

Geri Halliwell got to #21 on itunes this year through I'm sure just a tiny fanbase buying the song.

I think a prime example of this is Samantha Harvey a few weeks ago managing to get to #4 on iTunes for a few hours

This is a good track, much more interesting production wise than the rather dull imo You Want Me.

It also has the best sounding piano in a new piano house song I have heard in a long time!

Getting up high on iTunes doesn't take a huge impact, no of course not. Look at Steps. But staying up high is a different story.
