I am impressed it’s got to 617k so quickly, it’s sold more than Emma’s solo release this year without any active GH promo :o  :o

Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

A vinyl release and tour is active promo 😘

I didn't think about the Vinyl release tbh, but the tour was hardly promo they didn't mention it once throughout the whole thing...

Sure they did f*** all to adress the GH directly other than releasing a vinyl, but you cant neglect the effect of the tour. When the tour started, the GH shot up the charts and got to its highest position in years when the tour arrived in London.

It is well known that had they done more promo for the GH during that time - heck, even maybe have a couple of magazine interviews which they did NONE of - they probably would have been Top10 at some point. The tour announcement and then the actual tour did wonders for the album. It's a wonder that they didnt really capitalise on that since it was doing so well already because of the tour.

The Spice white vinyl is out next week - lets hope it brings it back into the charts. Would be interesting to see if the grils themselves even mention it and what effect it might have on the album.

Since HMV is not shipping worldwide, and only ships to the UK, it seems like all sales will be found at least for now, if the album charts at all!

I also hope that the vinyl will help bring Spring back into the chart, fingers crossed!

Unfortunately Greatest Hits fell out of the top 200 today, ending a 21 week run. It was in the midweeks all week this week, so that's a bit frustrating. I guess it must have been really close.

Bummer! Thanks Jay.

Do we know if it is still included in the £2.99 offer at HMV or is that gone? Might explain it...

Looking forward to the updates especially for SYBT and 2B1 seeing as they haven’t been updated since November, which is nearly a year ago and around the time of the reunion announcement
Jay.. Do you have the vinyl chart run of Spice?

As far as I’m aware it hasn’t charted in the vinyl chart before!

.. Ouch. I remember wrong.

Another randow thing I remember Desire re-enter in the physical single chart.

Do you know the date of entry?

I can't remember when it happened any more :( Info that's been lost with DenDen unfortunately. Maybe it was sometime in 2016 though?

It defo has at like #24 or something the week it was reduced to £12.99 in HMV it was maybe Jan this year or fairly recently iirc.

#95 (re-entry) in the Album Downloads Chart

#45 in the Albums Sales Chart

#43 in the Physical Albums Chart

Meanwhile, Spice is a new entry at #24 in the Vinyl Albums Chart!

Found it!

I forgot about that! Queens of price reductions :cheer:

Excited for the inevitable sale of their merch on their store, when all our 65 quid hoodies are sold for 30 quid.

I was lucky to get Emma's my happy place vinyl for £12.50 when they had a half price sale. Everything on there is full price again now, greedy BMG they could really get some extra sales if it was on sale between now and Jan.

I havent bought a single ting from the online shop cos it's incredibly expensive! Plus, I saw some of the merch during the tour in the stands and the quality really didnt justify the price ah.

If they do Christmas sales, then I will think on it but don't really count on it ah

I've been spending my money on the Little Miss Spice Girls merch, it's cheaper than the official store but amazing quality. I got a tshirt and it is great quality and print. The steel water bottle was pricey but again great quality.

I have Little Miss Spice Girls - books, socks, 2 tshirts (1 is arriving Tuesday), steel water bottle and free tote bag.

From their official store I have a Spiceworld globe hoodie, programme and wristband, I got them all at the co7ncert though not online.
