Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

^ I've now added Look at Me, Mi Chico Latino, Lift Me Up and Bag It Up. Will try and continue completing Geri's singles tomorrow. ^_^
Thanks for those, Jay! Also, regarding the note on 'Bag It Up', I understand "[pr]" to mean promo CD too - Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' charted at #179 due to this and zobbel marks this with "[pr]" too.
Great! Thank you so much Jay :)

Ooh! How strange that promos were put on sale, let alone sold enough to chart :o

I have now completed Geri's singles page, so just Melanie C's left to do now. ^_^

  • 2 weeks later...

Jay please also complete Melanie c chart runs  :please:

OCC (sort of) confirm that 'Say You'll Be There' is a million seller:

Between 1996 and 2000, Spice Girls notched up nine Number 1s on the Official UK Singles Chart, three of which have sold over 1 million. Look at Spice Girls' complete Official UK Chart history here.

The OCC has updated some of the single's figures:

link here

Wannabe is now at 1.61million

2 Become 1 is now on 1.21million

Who Do You Think You Are is now on 763,000

Viva Forever is now on 726,000

Holler is on 280,000

STRANGE that they did a list of their most successful singles and it doesnt meantion the numbers for the other singles. Would have been nice to know where Say You'll Be There, Stop, Goodbye and Spice Up Your Life are at the moment.

I think SUYL might go over 1million at some point next year :cheer:

Strangely they've edited their article, and it now says: "Between 1996 and 2000, Spice Girls notched up nine Number 1s on the Official UK Singles Chart, two of which have sold over 1 million." Maybe they feel like the phrasing of "sold" suggests pure sales?

However they've been clearer on Twitter about it being a "millionaire" - https://twitter.com/officialcharts/status/1...811411168235520

"Say You'll Be There has not sold over 1 million copies (physical and download). This list combines sales with streams, pushing SYBT over one million as a combined figure only. Looking at pure sales, SYBT is on 965,300 currently."
