I think this is the kind of album that needs a bunch of listens to appreciate, it's not very instant

I've listened 3 times in full and still couldn't be able to hum any of the newbies

my biggest problem is that it almost feels like a chore to listen to the album

THIS exactly what it feels like to me a chore.

It’s not because it’s bad or awful there’s a lot going on and as an album it’s hard to listen to.

I was hoping for a more instant sounding album sadly it’s the album I like least of all her releases and I can’t see that changing either.

I can't believe she's not including any of the more uptempo numbers from the new album. That's not exactly gonna allay the criticisms of her being a one trick pony.

Agreed one of the new uptempo tracks would have added some more variety.

I'd have thought she'd have at least but To Be Loved on the setlist

She has said in her interview with Zane Lowe that she won’t be performing that one life unfortunately.

I wouldn't be surprised if she decided to save it for a Brits / Grammy powerful performance.

I'm OBSESSED with Can I Get It *.*

Can I Get It is my fave right now, the album highlight.

Enjoying most of the album so far, need a few more listens before some tracks click though. It’s not as instant as 25 though but hopefully a grower!

Officially more popular in the US:

She should move to the US ASAP! :o

Oh wait...

I agree that this isn't as instant as her previous albums, but neither was 19 for me.

Oh My God & Can I Get It are both amazing. Though I still love I Drink Wine.

It's not the most commercial sounding album but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Taylor swift had 50% more spotify streams than her… not that huge

Yet she outsold her twice as much in one day!!!

Adele has done it ALL WRONG. No wonder she's sending hrt flop to the new charts. She NEEDED to release Can I Get It? first and WEEKS before Easy On Me. She could have tsken on Cheesy Fad with that song, and it is FULL of life. Imagine hearing that bop on the radio and relaising it's new Adele?! Then, the week of Cheesy Fad's album or the week after, drop Easy on Me!!! Have it no.1 for a few weeks, and rhen post-album or concurrent eith the album, release the video for Oh My God!! Brits/ Grammys? Switch back to the teo bog ballads - Hold On and I Drink Sine!! 5 no.1s and a HUGR album right there. As is, it just looks to the gp as a 25 rehash.

I Drink Wine has grown on me a lot! I'm still not sure it's the right second single choice but it's fast becoming a standout for me alongside Oh My God, Can I Get It and Hold On.
^ Hold On is naff & tedious. It's making me fall asleep.
"My Little Love" actually reminds me of "The Fog" from Kate Bush's "The Sensual World". Not what I expected from Adele at all!
