If you read her Rolling Stone interview from last year, she says that after not being able to release it in 2020, if she wasn't able to release it in 2021 she was going to scrap it entirely. So yeah I'm pretty convinced she just moved on and that's why we haven't had any more singles or anything.

 

She also said she basically made an album people wanted her to which I thought wasn’t overly genuine

She should do something nobody would ever expect of her. Do a big dance track or a rock song it would generate a lot of interest!

It's probably one of her better music videos and had a lot of cute moments. The scene into the final chorus with her pushing all the wine glasses away stands out for me. I just feel it's all come about six months too late and won't be reviving the 30 era in any big way if that's what her team is hoping for :lol:

I mean, they had the music video in the bag for so long, so they probably thought that they might as well release it before moving on to whatever's next.

Could be a contender for best music video or whatever they call it at the Grammys though so worth it for that reason I guess.

Omg, the person who leaked the video details LIKE A YEAR AGO, about her floating in gold doon a river, was reet all along!! :lol: And only she could hear the sang, wearing headphones, with everyone else just guessing what it sounded like!

It ended up being a nice small Q&A session with fans essentially. I guess local press was invited to partcipate/ask questions to post online etc.

 

There's a radio edit for "I Drink Wine" and apparantly it's now being sent to radio stations. Looks like the song will be sent to radio :cheer:
