Top 25 after less than half a day surely she should go top 10 with ease although hopefully not at the expense of demi

So much for being a critic's choice recipient. Once the hype dies down. Tom Odell another example.

Tom odell? Did pretty well for both his albums, similar chart stories
Speaking of Tom Odell, how did Magnetised go top 40 when it was so hard to do so at the time? Was it on Hot Hits UK/a streaming hit, 'cause I can't remember it ever doing much on iTunes...?

was a #23 sales hit that week plus people streaming the album on its 1st week!

He was pretty lucky that Magnetised went to @40

But well-deserved, its a great song

Talking about critics, Nme famously gave Tom Odell's debut a 0 :/ but still sold well

"Trials and Tribulations" is even the name of an LCD Soundsystem song.

Co-incidence much?.

Wasn't a performance on a TV show a big factor in it as well? Or am I mistaken?

Unless I'm very much mistaken would taylor have even been considered a critic choice nomination even in 2008/9 ?

Unless you misquoted me

Seeing as the compilation Soul Grooves seems to be sold out in supermarkets, I expect it to topple NOW 97 from the top of the compilation chart
Omg, Taylor Swift is going to stop Demi from going top 10 :(

I say this without seeing sales, but I could see Despacito being leapfrogged and pushed out of the top 10 potentially as that obviously has streaming against it!

Hopefully this despacitio has had its time top 10 Demi deserves it more :w00t:

Airplay is though, I can see it dropping to low top 40, and hang there for a while, Capital just moved it up the playlist for example.
