13 years ago this week the Spice Girls won the BRIT for 'Most Memorable Performance of 30 Years' at the 2010 ceremony.

The gap between that ceremony and 2023 is the exact time difference between the 1997 performance and winning the award in 2010.

I remember reading about it in the paper that week in 2010, thinking 'I can't believe it was 13 years ago'. 2010 feels pretty recent. Amazing how time flies.

  • Happy 25th anniversary! Also, ugh, 25 years since they last released an album. I still remember being so excited to get the CD, wanting my parents to take me to the shops after school finished on Mo

  • What I Am came out 26 years ago!! A total BOP! I will give it a stream and a purchase today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEOeClFSQ1o

  • I think Melanie just missed out on a Brit Award because she was nominated too early. There was a rule that you could only be voted in one year for an album and the Northern Star album nominations cam

God Geri!! Sooo cringe with the newcomer mention! Not the time or place!

25 years ago the girls did their 2nd and last performance at the old Wembley Stadium and ended the Spiceworld tour and era.
They only did two? Wow, crazy they managed to fill in three dates in 2019

Also it's 10 years ago this week since Mel B's last single 'For Once in My Life' was released :drama: :drama:

Victoria Beckham's final ever single 'This Groove'/'Let Your Head Go' was released 20 years ago today. Let's celebrate this by giving it some streams! Oh wait, we can't do that - never mind. x *Opens iTunes*

Two cute songs but I gotta be honest - they are quite of their time. Just listened to This Groove and honestly I'm not bothered to listen to it again  Vicky's solo album was better!

Maybe Emerald Fennell can put 'Let your head go' in her next film and we can have this song goes viral and gets that number one

How? It’s not available on streaming. 😂

^ exactly!!

Youll Get Yours is a great shout to be used and good enough to go viral!

^ I actually think Never Be the Same Again has the best chance to go viral. It still sounds fresh & current. I'm surprised no one has tried to sample it or use an interpolation of it.
