As a rule, most things that are so ginormous in the US do translate into being big UK hits...

I have seen lots of articles appear about this and it was trending on social media about her being the US #1, so I'm sure that publicity is helping her.

Because I wasnt sure if it would be a hit in the UK. I’m more surprised at how fast it’s climbing without any Hot Songs exposure.

 37. Cardi B - Bodak Yellow

It's got YouTube exposure, besides number 37 is not really climbing fast.

I'd say it is climbing fast - it's doubled its sales in the past ~12 hours, that's impressive.

iTunes sales are low at the moment anyway, it would be near number 100 if iTunes sales were at their 2012/13 heights.

Low sales affect *all * songs, the positions would be the same but the sales would be higher all round.

Put it this way, Sam Smith wont have to refresh iTunes constantly to see if Cardi B is about to overtake him.........

Which isn't really relevant to the point :kink:

But it's not 2012, though, is it? :P Under 2017 standards, it's climbing quickly.

Wow at Finders Keepers, looks like it's gonna be pretty big tbh
Every song which tops the chart in the US seems to do well over here. “Imma Be” by Black Eyed Peas I think was the last song to top the chart in America but bomb over here

Bad and Boujee wasn't quite the success here that it was in the US, it didn't bomb but it's certainly one of the worst performing Hot 100 #1s in recent times over here!

I wouldn’t say it exactly bombed. It still made the top 30. My definition of bombing is a song which failed to make the top 40 which in my eyes, last US #1 to bomb over here was “Imma Be”. Let’s just say that “Imma Be” was the last US #1 which failed to make the top 40 over here

Indeed, I said it didn't bomb :kink: but compared to the rest, it didn't perform quite as well and it certainly wasn't a smash!
