Amazon and 7Digital 😊

No amazonnnnnnnnnnnn, they are evil!!

7Digital it is then

I'll do it from Amazon as I don't have iTunes. Just think how iconic it would be to see Forever in the charts again. Spice Girls Net can you push this as a campaign on your social media? We can push it on Spice Circle. Jay maybe you could post about it on pop justice.

We've had Spice, Spiceworld and the GH all chart top 100 last couple of years Forever needs it's moment.

Yes I'm happy to promote it on social media.

We should definitely hold a few streaming parties on it's actual anniversary and use that to warm fans up and get people aware of the Nov 20th vinyl release too.

Stop has reached 80 million streams on Spotify!

It’s their second highest streamed song on Spotify, only behind ‘Wannabe’ (which is 420m streams ahead of Stop) ‍♂️

I wish some of their hits were at least 100 million

Stop is doing around 65-75k streams per day on average and over 570,000 per week

Wannabe has done around 2.5 million streams this week, having recently hit 500m

Nice to see Stop and 2 Become 1 are getting good streams!
Stop deserved to be #1. Glad to see how time has been kind to this song. It's almost as a trademark as Wannabe.

Spice Up Your Life and Viva Forever deserve better streaming numbers to be honest...

Lets not even talk about Holler, which if there was any justice in the world, would be in their Top3 of streaming songs

Ya i would like to see much higher streaming numbers for spice up your life and viva forever, although overall the spice girls are doing fairly ok in general considering streaming came after their time. I sometimes wonder how much money they make per year on their back catalogue, tours etc not included.

I remember reading in like 2005 or so that each of them make around £2million out of royalties, merch, etc. And that was when they havednt been active or touring at all for a long time.

I would imagine that they probably get much less nowadays without touring as streaming doesnt give you that much money at all but who knows... Licensing deals might be quite profitable for them...

Even they were pulling in 250k per year for essentially doing nothing its not a bad outcome, of course the tours etc has boosted their profile again in recent years and the greatest hits has been ticking over with sales so they are prob earning a decent amount again.

I agree, their streaming numbers are very decent for an act that basically only released music in the 90's, also considering Viva Forever (for example) was never a US hit compared to some of their other songs. Obviously Wannabe is a streaming force, but some of their other ones are doing very well (also compared to a lot of their peers from around that time).

They haven't released any music in 13 years, their streaming numbers are amazing. If they releases new music (or old unreleased) their streaming would fly up too. Their are only so many times people can listen to the same 35 songs which definitely hurts their streaming numbers.
