I feel like my expectations were too high with Feed Your Love as an individual song on iTunes... I thought it could go Top 10, so I'm disappointed that it's gone no higher than Top 50. Evidently people are downloading the EP as a whole (although, sorry to be pessimistic, but #4 on iTunes isn't a great indication that it's selling very strongly as an EP either).

I wonder why the Gomis Dub is doing relatively well on iTunes, higher than the Demo or Remix on the new EP

I feel like universal weren't looking for downloads with not even putting it up for pre-order.

There seems to have been a big push to make their streaming stronger so far with this 25th anniversary. The deal with Spotify is a lot more important than downloads to them I guess.

Still I'd have like to see it do better but I'll not be too bothered if it then does better on streaming.

They will still make a fortune on the very expensive vinyl and cassette.

So great to see it exceed 100m  About time they had another song over 100m!
Yes, that's fantastic (and so deserved to see!), now let's get 2 Become 1 get to that mark by the end of the year
I know it doesn’t mean much these days, but the Wannabe 25 EP is #1 on the Worldwide iTunes album chart, which is nice to see.

The Spice Girls were never that big anyway. Any new releases will prove thay, just like this one. Glad it never went on the album!

It's #1 in a few countries actually. Good for them :yahoo:

It's great for them and the fans. Yep iTunes isn't what it was but then it's only an EP of a 25 year old song. The press, attention and sales are all way above most artists expectations for what essentially could be a super low key fan only release.
Another mistake for the charts was to push the physical format for August.

Spotify listeners today up to 8,910,000

Pretty certain it was either 8,808 or 8,820 so either way an increase of 90-100k listeners in one day

It was 8,808 yesterday

Oh wow over 100k listeners then!

Also "Wannabe" was streamed over 511,000 times yesterday! It finally broke the half a million barrier (is that the first time)?

Top 5 stream counts

Wannabe - 511,656

Stop - 137,105

SUYL - 91,760

2B1 - 83,775

SYBT - 84,533

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Feed Your Love - 99 840

Wannabe - Demo - 13 191

Hey Tommie, how did you find those figures?

Thank you
