I've noticed on various Spotify data Twitter accounts that the SG are always at #10 on the list of the most streamed girl groups for that particular day/week.

Blackpink and Little Mix average at 2-3 million streams per day with Spice Girls at #10 with an average of 600k

Can we get this a little higher? Maybe some more streaming parties? :cheer:

I wish the members on Spice Circle would embrace streaming, but they don’t appear to do so. I tried hosting a Greatest Hits listening party there & like 5 people bothered to do it lol. Which was incredibly poor considering there’s thousands of members there. :(

Other fan bases, even for artists older than Spice Girls, have adapted to streaming & also appear to have found a younger audience - for example, Queen and ABBA. Spice fans really need to step away from iTunes lol.

I was reading a sales review of the Spice Girls and it looked at physical sales, iTunes sales and streaming and it was saying that the Spice Girls stream are actually quite high for a group of that era, especially a Pop group.

I would think so as well, on average they attract around 7 million monthly listeners, with the reunion period last year gaining quite a bit more, and I think that is a good result considering most of their fans probably have physical albums of their releases and still listen to them on a regular basis instead of streaming. Obviously most of their streams go towards Wannabe, but also quite a bit of their other stuff get some good results. All in all, I think they do quite well, but we can always help a bit extra with some streaming parties on here ofcourse.

I don't think it has been this high since the tour last year!

They did have paid sponsorship on fb and Instagram for their pride playlist last weekend. Which is good though shows either management or their team are willing to invest money in them again.

Spice Girls YouTube channel has reached 850m total views

It was just under 700k subscribers by the end of the tour and it’s now on 762k

Another increase in Spotify monthly listeners to 7,315,349.

I cant remember when the numbers dropped off after the tour but this seems the highest in ages.

Monthly Spotify listeners still going up 7,334,008. Hopefully a nice boost tomorrow with Wannabe's anniversary. Will have been a long time since they were over 7.5m if they can get there.

The 8 Live performances uploaded on the Spice Girls Official YouTube channel (6 Istanbul and 2 Wembley) has reached a combined 5 million views

I wish they'd add more content, interviews, throwbacks, behind the scenes etc.

Fingers crossed they add more *if* this tour is happening in 2021

Random question:

If you go onto iTunes there are certain Spice Girls singles obviously available to download either as a single or as an individual track from the albums they’re on.

But if you type in ‘Wannabe’ it’ll also give you other options - e.g. Now 100 or Girl Power anthems. Does every download (even from other albums and playlists) all count towards its sales total?
