Great milestone the Wannabe lyric video is doing really well with views and has sped up their subscribers rising on YouTube.

Considering the general numbers of views decreased on YouTube (only the biggest like Adele and Taylor Swift do great numbers), and the fact it’s a lyric video, they’re doing fine. I wish there was more coming, but I have the feeling they’re saving time and energy for Spice World and the tour.

Already approaching 500k for a lyric video off a 25 year old is pretty impressive. After its initial release I haven’t been keeping up to date with youtube but it’s great

I’m sure that lyric video is going to be pretty consistent with the views it gets over time. I can see it having a higher view count than Headlines and LLLTW official videos at some point!

They should do lyric videos for the entire Spice album - if the Sugababes can do it for One Touch with a much smaller budget, then I don't why the Spice Girls couldn't. It would also be a good way to promote album tracks to the general public.

Honestly, they have such a small discography as a five piece and only 12 (!) album tracks (if you include Step to Me) across two albums that they really should be focusing on pushing those more if they want to keep on touring.

Agree. Sammy01 if you still have your contact, could you ask for those? At the very least the singles, but ideally the album tracks too. It would be amazing and tack up streams/sales!

At the very least, I think a lyric video for '2 Become 1' is needed, as it gets a boost every Christmas.

A 2 become 1 one is a no brainer especially with how well the Wannabe one is doing. I'll ask see if they plan on something for the 2 become 1 anniversary.

 

I'm sometimes confused by Universal, like with SYBT they have a lot more b-roll footage from the video and made a longer video yet we only got that short clip from it for its anniversary.

 

I was told the archives are an absolute mess after being moved about so much and not as much exists and is saved as we think it is. I think that's why they've reached out to fans to ask for pics and stuff a few times.

 

I guess if the plan goes as they want for 3 years of celebrations then there might be a thought to hold some of what they actually have back for the next few years.

Forever has the most unreleased stuff that fans are eager to hear.

Well it started this year and the tour won't be till 2023. It started with the Mama lyric video when new/celebration content started.

 

I'd f***ing hate it if they neglect Forever!!! I dont care if they do less - just like one CD and one Vinyl, whatever but through us all you can get girlies!!
